This story is driving me absolutely nuts. The good nuts. It's soo bloody well-written, and it feels so real. The things that are going on - I've experienced them, and it's obvious that you have too. I've had a very similar relationship with someone (not famous) who was as confusing and my emotions were exactly how you've written them. So impressed. This is not just fangirl drivel! And let me tell you something - I hate romance. I skip right through it all. I don't know what drew me to this one - maybe it was the Banff - I'm a Calgarian myself. (And as an Albertan, you've done a great service of describing things and mentioning local places... except you have the Queen Elizabeth highway mixed up with the Trans Canada. The QE runs north to south and doesn't go anywhere near Banff. ^.-) Anyway, I LOVE THIS. THANK YOU.
