Hi! My name is Melissa, but most of my friends call me Mel for short. I've been writing fan fiction on and off since I was 16 and I'm now almost 23, so I've definitely came a LONG way in my writing lol. Still though I've yet to ever finish anything. (Well outside of two stories WAAAY back but they were horrible! lol) I live in NY about an hour from NYC and I'm going to school to become an elementary/ special ed teacher.I've been a fan of BSB since I was 15 and Nick has always been my favorite. Just got caught back up here and I must say that I still love it! One of things that impresses me most about this story is how sympathetic you make both Cassie and Hannah. Most fics would make one of them the "villian" therefore in the readers eyes excusing Nick for cheating. I really like how you capture both Hannah's guilt and Cassie's feelings of betrayal. I also love how Nick is so oblivious he actually thinks that Cassie and Hannah can be friends. Great job!

I think so far the story is pretty good. Nicole is adevious lil bitch lol I like it. I like the chemistry she and Nick have. My only suggestion is to doublecheck your punctuation. A lot of the time you leave out periods and forget to capitalize so it seems like one big run on sentence.

Sorry that I haven't left feedback in like 56868 years. Been really busy, but I'm SOOO into this story. On to read the sequel. The only thing is that you just need to be careful with spelling and grammer, but I've definitely seen a lot worse. It is very entertaining.

I like the premise of the story, but I'm not sure if I entirely believe that it was that easy 4 Nick and Nicole to just fall back in love with each other. I wonder if now that they had sex they are going to automatically go back to how they were? Also make sure you proof read carefully. A few times Nicole's name was Jinefer.

I LOOOVE this story!!! I got really behind on it since I've been busy with school and all, but I've been diligently trying to catch up. The whole wedding scene I was literally saying to myself "C'mon Nick, Sat something and break up the wedding just like in the movies" although I suppose thats not very realistic. I think though in the time I'd like to see Nick with Laureen. I think there's something there and of course I think it'll make Claire feel pretty mixed up, but thats just my suggestion.

I kinda figured that even if I made it suspenseful, most people would know I wouldn\'t do that. I like happy endings. ;) I almost thought I shouldn\'t even do the car accident stuff at all because it seemed like too much, but it\'s been planned as sort of the big climactic moment since before I started writing the story. I thought of it back when I was still on kind of a guilt trip about chopping off his leg, so it was like my way of making it \"meant to be.\" And also, I think Claire needed an experience like that to make her wake up and remember to live in the moment, like you said, and just go with her heart. LMAO at Nick being like a cat... sadly, it\'s so true LOL. =P Thanks again for all of your comments - I really appreciate the feedback!! :)

I haven't left you a review on this story forever because I've been reading it on your site, but after the last few chapters I definitel had to stop and leave you a review Julie. The past few chapters have been amazing to say the least. You had me literally in tears on the edge of my seat praying right along with Claire that Nick pulled through. I knew he would because that woud be SOOO messed up for him to survive cancer, but die in a car accident.
It's really funny how fate worked out with the whole leg thing. Choosing to have the amputation was extremely difficult for Nick and he had a really hard time accepting it yet years later it turned out to actually save his life! And its completely true what Drew said. If he had somehow managed to survive the crash they'd have probably had to amputate his leg anyway. Life works in mysterious ways like that I guess.
And yay they're getting married! It's kind of sad that it took something like this to really open up Claire's eyes and force her to get her head out of her ass, but I'm glad she realizes now that life is precious and you have to live in the moment. And so cute that they got engaged again in a hospital. Sad but true, but there is where most of their most memorable moments took place.
Hopefully Nick recovers without any further complicatons. He kind of scares me because he's like a freakin cat. He should have been dead like a billion times already. I always am scared that he's finally run out of lives.
Awesome work and I'm anxiously awaiting more! I love this story and its been SUCH a huge inspiration to me!

Wow... Ok uhmm where do I start? I still cannot believe that this story is actually finished! And weren't you afraid some of your readers would be disapointed by the ending? I thought it ended exactly as it should. I mean yea everything ended happily, but after ALL the torture you put both Claire and Nick they deserved a happy fluffy ending.
It was a relief to see that the both of them went on to live very long happy lives together and had more kids. I thought that it was also very fitting that Nick would pass away right after Claire. It's very true; if a man does first the woman can go on living without them, but when a woman goes first a man just loses the will to live. The same thing happened to my friends grandparents. Anyway I enjoyed the ending even though it almost made me think of the ending of Titantic cuz I was picturing them all young again in my mind.
Thanks you SOOOO much for the acknowledgement. I wasn't expecting it, so its really awesome to be recognized. This series has captivated me from the moment I stumbled upon it... Ok maybe not THE moment cuz I actually gave up on it at first which I've admitted to you because I was like Uhmm ok Nick is dating a stripper and he has cancer? What the hell kind of story is this? But I'm SOOOOO glad I went back to it and then got sucked in. As I said on the AC forum this story has motivated and inspired me in so many ways and in risk of sounding like an insane stalker it REALLY did help give me the basis for my current fic.
