I am so excited to see an update for this story, I really love it. What an intense chapter, I feel really bad for both of them and I have a feeling things are going to blow up pretty soon. Great chapter and hope to see more soon.

My side hurts! This is freaking hillarious! I love South Park. Terrance Phillips, HA! This story never fails to brighten my day just a little bit. "...South Africa You Dildo", "Kevin just called me a dildo!" oh man I haven't seen that in years. Y'all are the best. Look forward to more.

Author's Response: Thank you!! Glad you're enjoying it - and getting all our jokes/references LOL. Yay! Thanks again for the review!

I like long chapters, but that's because I'm too impatient to wait for the next part. What happened with this story anyway, did it get erased or did you just do a rewrite? I like it, don't see a lot of Sci Fi anymore. I think this is one of the best Backstreet Project stories.

Author's Response: Wow!  Thanks, steffilu!  I did do a rewrite of Redeeming the Fallen, that's why there were only two chapters for a long time.  Then one day I realized that I only had two posted, so I'm posting the rest of it.  One of the best Backstreet Project stories?  Thanks!

Summary:

Brian Littrell and AJ McLean were not the type of men you’d expect to associate with one another. One was a music teacher and a family man; the other made his living in bars and tattoo parlors. Their paths sometimes paralleled, but never crossed… until fate altered the course of their lives. Through tragedy, the two men would meet… to bring justice to a life cut short.

I'm hooked. I am really interested in seeing where this story goes. The drama! I love it. And I just can't resist a good Brian and AJ story, they're my favorites. Can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: LOL I love me some drama! I'm glad you're liking it too so far - thanks so much!! I'm really excited to be writing an A-Rok fic; I don't write about AJ all that often, and even though Bri's my favorite, I haven't written a Brian story in forever, it seems! Thanks for checking it out and reviewing! :)

Evil! Evil cliffhanger! man now I won't be able to focus in my classes. j/k I am really loving this story and I love how you have written these characters, I feel like I am really getting to know them. I didn't say this in my last review but I just wanted to say that I have followed you are one of the first writers I read back in high school years ago and I have seen so much growth in your writing, you get better and better. Keep it up.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your review, and I'm sorry this reply is so late! I just found a whole crop of reviews I apparantly read, but forgot to reply to. I don't usually suck that bad, so I apologize LOL. Anyway, I've been working on the next chapter of this story FINALLY, so hopefully that cliffy will be resolved soon LOL. Thanks for reading... it means a lot to me that you have been reading my stuff for that long and keep coming back for more - I sure appreciate it!! =D

Yeah update! And two chapters, awesome! You had me worried there for a while. I am excited about this story and where you are going to go with it. I have always said what makes a good AU is the ability of the author to keep the boys personalities outside the context of the band. There is always a danger in just creating new characters and just giving them the names AJ, Brian, Nick, Howie, Kevin. I love how you have captured the essence of Brian and AJ and even Howie in this story so far but also making the neccessary changes in them not being "the boys". I don't know if that made any sense but in short good job, keep up the good work and can't wait for more. The whole "supernatural" in the genre discription has me very intrigued.

Author's Response: Thank you so much!! I'm really excited to finally revive this story, and hopefully there won't be such a long delay next time! =P I'm glad you're still into it; I really appreciate that!! I know what you mean about AU... I don't see the point in changing their personalities, unless there's a logical reason for it within the story... at that point, though, why not just call it original fiction? I think the fun part about AU is trying to keep them the same people, just living different lives. I'm glad that aspect seems to work for you in this story! As for the "supernatural" aspect... wait and see; it'll come into play later on. I don't consider myself much of a supernatural writer, so I can't promise it will be wildly original or believable, but hopefully it will be entertaining. Thanks again for your review!! :)

Oh I forgot to mention in yesterday's review, I would take chick-fil-a over KFC anyday.

Author's Response: LOL! I have to say I disagree... but then, my only experience with Chick-Fil-A was the one in the dining hall at college, so maybe other Chick-Fil-As are better. There aren't any in my area, apart from that one. The chicken there always had a weird aftertaste and was a little iffy on how it would make you feel afterwards LOL.

I like the detail in this chapter. You've gotten very detail with the hospital room scenes over the years (comes with practice I guess, lol). Still interested to see where you are going with this story but in the mean time have enjoyed each chapter and the moments within them. I guess what I really like about this story is the care you've taken with it to make each chapter say exactly what it needs to say. Just wish it would get updated more often =) but I also understand.

Author's Response: Aw, thanks!! :) I'm a lot more anal about details and researching to make sure I get things as realistic as I can - Broken did that to me LOL. I couldn't write without Google handy LOL. Thanks for noticing and appreciating that! :) I wish I would update this story more often too... I really do like it, and I think part of my problem with it is that I, at the risk of sounding arrogant, I like what I've already written for it so much that when I try to force more out and the writing isn't at the same level, I just stop writing and wait for inspiration to strike... and then that takes forever to happen LOL. So it could be slow-going like this the whole way, but I have this story planned out to almost the end, so there's really no excuse for me not finishing it... it just may take awhile! Thanks for sticking with me; I really appreciate your reviews! :)

Oops I'm a bad reviewer. Sometimes I get going on my day and forget to stop for a minute to review. Anyway I like how much emotion and attention to detail you put into this story. I can tell you did your homework on heart transplants and all that. That being said I am ready for the first little twist to be revealed that I am guessing is coming. Ready for something crazy to happen.

Author's Response: No worries! Thanks for coming back to review, though, I really appreciate it! :) Thanks for the compliment on my attention to detail! The story is slowly building and coming together, but there are definitely some twists on the way. :)

I feel like your teasing a bit here. I keep waiting for something bad to happen to Jori because that is what I feel like you're leading up to. You have these moments where I'm like "oh here it comes" and then it's like nope, not yet. All that to say you're doing a good job building  the suspense.

Author's Response: LOL That may be what's happening here. ;) I will tell you that the whole story is only going to be 25 chapters long, so we're getting there! Thanks so much for the review and the compliment!

That's so cool, the concept of cellular memory. I've heard of people changing after transplants but never heard that theory. This story fascinates me and it's been neat to see where it's gone. Can't wait to see what actually happened to her and why.

Author's Response: I know!! When I got the idea for this story, I did a little research to find out if I could find some way to justify what I thought was more of a supernatural storyline; I had never heard of cellular memory, but turns out it's a real thing! Well, maybe. Most scientists think it's BS because there's no scientific explanation for it, but there's enough of these crazy stories I've read that can't just be coincidence that it does make you wonder. It's interesting, anyway! I'm glad you're enjoying the story, and I hope you'll like the rest... I'm really excited to write the ending! Thanks for the review! :)

That was so sad. I know this is just fiction but anything involving a parent losing a child is just heartbreaking. That can get the waterworks going for me faster than almost anything else.

Author's Response: I know what you mean; I'm the same way. :( I thought about putting a Kleenex warning on it, but I kind of wanted it to be shocking. Thanks for the review!

I am liking this story. I have always been into the supernatural type stories. Reminds me of Dead Zone, which I don't know if that is kinda where you were going. I like your writing style too. I like the dialogue and discriptions you use. Well keep up the good work and I look forward to more.
