Nick and Annie are finally moving towards their "happily ever after," but a sinister force threatens to tear them apart.
I'm very confused because I thought Howie was stuck plunging to his death. Why don't I remember Nick being stabbed?
Well whatever the case you need to push and then type... push and then type! Because if I'm not wrong and Howie was in a car accident now you left two of them hanging! Poor Stabbed Nick and hanging Howie LOL
Author's Response: You literally posted this while I was in labor. Lol. The Nick stabbing-- well I purposefully didn't put a lot of detail in the actual act because I wasn't sure I could do it justice. There was a mention of a knife, then the aftermath. Maybe I was a little too subtle.

I have to admit I was very hestitant in wanting to read this because I know you aren't into writing BSB anymore and the last thing I want is to get sucked into a new story of which there will only be one or two chapters before you disappear again. I had to take a peak though. Great start Steph! It sounds like something I'd really enjoy and I do hope you continue to write on it but I might wait until it's complete before I get all consumed. LOL
Okay so I was going to wait until you got to chapter 5 before I decided to continue reading but then I saw in your updsate thread that you have all the way up to chapter 8 already so I just went ahead and decided to read it. Don't you love my standards? LOL
I love the concept of the angels wanting to take back the world! It's so funny that generally whenever anyone talks or writes about angels these days they tend to be douches! I wonder what they think of that. I love Nick's thoughts throughout this chapter especially the bit about Kevin not caring he was taken away to this mysterous organization. I would be a tad nervous if it was up to Nick to save us all but as long as spelling and grammar aren't anywhere in the equation, I'd be willing to give him a chance!
Now saying all this! If I do get sucked into this story you are NOT allowed to just disappear. If I have to kidnap those 1D kids I will! Although, I guess that would give you even more fodder to write about them. Blah!

So, is this evengalion the crossover element of the story? Or did you make this thing up yourself? Either way what a freaky sounding thing! I loved how Nick wanted to call Brian just for some normalcy. I couldn't even imagine having to keep that kind of secret, I'd go nuts!! And speaking of nuts...I can totally see one of Nick's lunatic fans entrusting him to save the planet because he's hot! Althought the fact that NERV had originally picked that lunatic (she might not be a fan but that's kind of what I'm gathering) doesn't really put my faith in their overall judgement as well. LOL
"Hey, baby." LOL that was so Nick. So we are about to encounter an angel attack, I'm looking forward to seeing what one of those is like and how they are going to manage to wear those huge suits without drawing attention to themselves. Now I'm all caught up! YAY! I like Angie, even though I did wince at the presence of a female. At least she seems to be a strong one. What is it with having kids save the world?
I don't blame Nick for being as frustrated and mad as he was. These people kind of suck ass when it comes to training. I liked the idea of the angels being specks of light and not your stereotypical white gown wearing, winged people with halos. I also love the fact that even though the boys aren't really present you have Nick take the time to at least talk to one of them or flashback to a memory of them per chapter. That's what probably keeps me reading and so entertained you have so much going on, all the excitement with the fighting angels but still the inclusion of the bromantic moments. As long as they keep going and it doesn't turn into a love story, I'll be sticking around. :O) Great chapter!!
Author's Response: Thanks, Mare! They really do suck when it comes to training and keeping their pilots informed LOL no wonder Nick was so upset! I'm glad you liked the description of the angels, I took inspiration from the show this is based off of but I still wanted to do something a little different with that aspect of it. It definitely won't be a love story - I can't promise bromantic moments in every chapter but the boys will be there throughout, they're not going anywhere! Thanks again :)
I liked your descriptions on his training. I'm glad they are FINALLY training the poor guy. I feel bad for him. Angie needs to relax a bit or get stepped on by one of those suits. LOL Good luck with your new job!
Author's Response: No kidding, poor Nick, subject to this horribly disorganized place lol. Angie definitely needs to relax, she's fun to write because she's so snippy, but likely irritating for Nick to interact with haha. Thanks, Mare! And thanks for the well wishes on the new job :)

I loved AJ in this chapter, asking Kevin if he was okay as the poor guy is stuck under the bus! LMAO
How did Nick and Russell end up so far away from the crash? Did they wander away or were they thrown from the bus? I hope Nick comes to his senses and realizes he's walking away with a nutjob!

Great start, Tracy. I like that you brought all of their problems up right off the bat. I could easily see Nick following AJ like a puppy.
Uh oh! Well we know what's going to happen because we know what kind of story this will be lol I'm excited to see how Russel has a hand in making it all happen. Nick always has to date the girl with all the drama!
I bet AJ was a big jerk during this time period which can be so hard to believe when you see his personality nowadays. Poor crying Nick. He was a mess back then, for real. I was a little confused with the handshake thing. I didn't get that? But it's nice to see how Russell was able to get himself that job. Curious to see what happens next! :O)
Wow, the guys all seem so disconnected. Again, this time period works well for this kind of story. I loved how they tried to talk to AJ but he would have none of that. And I also enjoyed your foreshadowing at the end of the chapter. Great job, Tracy!
