ok, I'm all caught up and waiting for the next chapter now! Yay! That was a pretty crappy thing for AJ to do to her. I mean I know why he did it, it's just kind of shitty. lol. He's right, he's an asshole. But, what's he gonna do? Fall in love? Like that will work for someone in his position. I'm still curious as to who exactly Crystal is and how she fits in on the Richardson farm. Oh! And every time you describe Nick as a cowboy, I laugh my butt off. I can barely picture it, but its freaking hilarious. I also love Jack's relationship with his car. It's so Dean Winchester! (LOL sorry, too much love for Supernatural.) So, is Howie up there trying to kill Crystal? Huh? Huh? Huh? I'm officially joining the ranks of people waiting for you to update, so now you must. lol I love it, Erika, I really do. I am curious, though, why you chose to call him Jack instead of AJ or Alex or whatnot. Was there a specific reason? You know what I like the most about this story, is the tone. You have your character down. You express him very well and he's very consistent. I think it's his voice that gives the whole mood of this story such a unique feel. I can't wait to see how everything's going to go down. Great job! and Update soon!

I'm working on a new chapter right now. Woohoo! Yeah there are still a lot of unanswered questions with what is going on in that ranch. Which I'm working on...Nick as a cowboy *Sighs and imagines* HOt! but you know it is kinda funny. Oh yeah your a big winchester fan aren't you? Dean is freaking hot too. hum...so many questions...so man. lol. Depressing much? That's the saddest idea ever in the whole world. Ok, well maybe not the saddest ever, but it's close. A world without the Backstreet Boys? NOOO! And how even more depressing that Kevin feels guilty. I imagine he might feel a little survivors guilt if something like that ever did happen. BUT, depressing and sad as it is, it was still very beautiful and heartfelt. Plus I got all giddy when I got the e-mail alert saying the you updated a story!!! YAY Sarah!!! You can write millions of beautifully depressing stories, so long as you are writing. *sigh* I miss you! I'm super excited to see you in a few weeks! Keep up this tiny momentum and write more! You are too, too good for my ego lol I'm glad you're so excited about me writing again.  I'm pretty excited, too, because I've finally got most of my stressful things taken care of and am mostly not worried about anything--which is all a sure recipe for me being able to write without feeling guilty :) I know this was depressing, but I'm glad you think it wasn't a pile of crap. Awww, wow, Chaos! You capture scrubs so well! You do an EXCELLENT Perry!! I loved all of JD's dialog too. I could totally hear the banter between them just like I was watching an episode. I can also kind of imagine JD and Turk coming up with a scheme like that. Oh, and LMAO at the Janitor and Todd choking on a bow! Great story hun! I loved it! Yay for reading my first Scrubs fanfic! When I read the thread on the challenge board I was really curious to see what this uncommon fandom was and I totally giggled when I saw it was Scrubs. I love Scrubs. Hehe I even have a set of "Srubs" scrubs. They came in some press kit my hubby got a few years back. Random, sorry. Anyway so good to see you writing (and chatting with us) again, no matter what the fandom!

hahahahahahahahaha! This fic so totally just made my day! I love it! I seriously love the janitor! I'm going to have to read all your scrubs stuff, because you do it so well. It almost makes me want to attempt to write one, but I don't think I could pull it off anywhere near as well as you. I loved in this one how JD would tilt his head up in one of his fantasies but then the Janitor would just fantasize along with him. And what a clever little story. So many details of the show worked in there. LMAO with him thinking of giving Lester to Ellie. Wondering if she likes stuffed animals. Oh and poor Ted! Hahahahaha. I've never seen a more pathetic character and you added to that so nicely! Ok, I'll stop gushing now, but seriously, Ash, I love all this Scrubs fic! So fun!

Aww, so sweet. Now this is making me want to write NICS. You make me want to jump fandoms more than anyone else on the planet lol. It's just that I love everything you write so much, and every time I read a new fandom from you it's such a nice refreshing break from everything else here. (Plus, you always seem to pick my favorite shows.) I can see what you mean by flirting with romance, but never actually going there. This was a greatstory because it showed a completely different kind of love and that was clear from the begining. And I felt it was very realistic. I can imagine that team of people all being like that with each other. I also loved how you wrote Tony so gentle. I could see him being like that very deep down inside.

 

You said the style was choppy and repetitive, but it totally worked. It made you see exactly how exhausted Tony was with his thoughts being so incoherrant. It also emphasized that there was really, really something wrong with him.

 

Anyway, it was beautiful - brilliant as laways - but now I hope you are sleeping!



Author's Response: Hey, Kelly! Thanks for your comments! And LOL about jumping fandoms! I know I probably do it too much, but I have so much fun trying out various characters. Tony's one of those weird characters that is so fun to write because he's so obnoxious at times (!!!!), but then if you watch he has these moments where you can tell he's *not* really what he usually presents himself to be. So yeah, it might be deeeeeep down at times, but I suspect he's a lot more gentle than he comes across. lol. (And I *love* the almost 'family' vibe of the NCIS team.) Anyhoo, thanks again for your comments they're really appreciated!! (But alas, there's still no rest for the wicked...erm...yeah. *insert angelic smile here*)

LOL. The entire team gets "reassigned" at the beginning of Season 6 (actually end of season 5 but I haven't seen that episode yet so don't know exactly why...). Ziva is sent back to Isreal and Tony is assigned to be the "Agent Afloat" and they're still there for the first couple eps of the 6th season. And Abby's really funny back at the lab trying to get Gibbs to get them re-assigned back.

lol now who sounds like the Geek? Interesting DiNozzo fact. What to be McGee witht he research there.  I love it Zak! You know, part of me thinks that DiNozzo is the biggest geek ever. All the movie refrences, tries way too hard with the ladies, the cheesy smile... I could see the vulnerable little Tony in grade school having trouble and then coming into his own later. It makes sense. I could also see the look on Tony's face. THe guilt and need of approval from McGee. I thought you got Tony's character down pat on this one. Especially how McGee's not really sure if Tony made the whole story up or not. Well done (as always)!

Well, you know me, I'm a complete neurotic when it comes to my writing...or just about anything *face-palm*.
