Hey everyone,

I hope you're ready for awards season!

I'm going to be realistic when I say that our fandom has taken a dip. For that reason it will be too difficult to have judged awards this year. It's challenging for all of us to make time to read when we want to, let alone when we have to.

So... that being said... this year's awards will be Reader's Choice!

All the fics you love will be nominated by you, and voted on by you. Keep an eye on the boards for nomination instructions! :)

Yay! I used to run fanfic awards back in the day and I know they're a lot of work.  It makes me so sad that the fandom has taken a dive :'(  What is wrong with these people?  With a BSB summer tour everyone should be flooding the boards!  ;)

I know, right?  I can see why you're not doing judged awards this year, though.  Judging does take awhile, and several judges flaked out last year, leaving Julilly and Mare in a bind.  All reader's choice sounds much easier!  I'm glad you're doing the awards again; they're the only fanfic awards still running that actually follows through with announcing winners LOL.
