Oh my god, I think they are deliberately doing this to Brian now, and I'm guessing it's not a real hospital either, but I've suspected that for a while. There is no way Nick misunderstood the squeezing of the fingers and that Brian understood what he was saying. But why? I wonder why they are doing this and lying about him being brain dead :(
Brian must be terrified by what he's hearing. And I bet they are hidden away somewhere where no one can find them too. I just hope someone comes to the rescue before one or both get killed off.
Loving this so much, even though the guys are getting tortured :)

I could be totally wrong about it not being a real hospital lol, but that's what I'm imagining as I read it.

Haha, I love the theory! That's so interesting. It could be that Dr. Elizabeth is the one who misunderstood, since she didn't observe Brian squeezing Nick's hand and opening his eyes and such. If Brian really is brain dead, it would have happened because of Patrick giving him too much of the drug and stopping his heart.
I'm gonna post the next chapter on Thursday in honor of Howie's birthday. I can't wait for you to read it! :) Thanks for the feedback, Steph!!
