And one of the movie channels that we get has been showing 007 movies all week... Have I watched a one? Nope  ::) Perfectly happy with watching Cars and Ice Age 2 with the kids (and spending all my other time here on the boards, lol)

But can someone save me reading through 30 pages of convo on the other thread and explain what the Red Jewel is/will be/whatever?

Your idea? I believe that was an integral scene in the remake of Casino Royale. ;) Hahaha. ;D

Which, by the way, for anyone who hasn't seen a James Bond movie, I recomend it (it's a remake of the very first one, soo....)

it's NOT a remake Dee, it IS the first James Bond Book made into a move... :p  The fist James Bond movie is Dr. No. :p

My mom said she had seen the movie before, and not the version I saw.

Well there was technically a Casino Royal movie but this new one is not considered a remake because the first one was not officially considered one of the Bond movies. It was a comedy that starred Inspector Clouseau(sp?) (the pink panther). Anyway it sucked and wasn't a bond movie so this was the first time Casion Royal(James Bond style) had been done.

ps. I also highly reccomend this one to those of you who haven't watched the franchise because it explains the story behind James Bond. (mostly)

plus the first 30 minutes knocked me out of my seat because it was so good. 

but yeah, that naked torture scene... gotta have one of those for 00Carter. Just don't make me write it cause I get squeemish and wouldn't be good at it. Leave that for the twisted people like Laura Mae!  ;D

There was a T.V. program entitled Casino Royale that had a Jimmy Bond... but that's not really a James Bond movie so this is not a remake

They finally got rights to the first book is what my Dad says and when it comes to James Bond, my Dad knows
