I just finished "Sugar Daddy" by Lisa Kleypas...not total trash, but it definitely has a bit in there!  Ha!

Hopefully I will feel the same way...I reserved it at the library and will pick it up this afternoon.  I also have a couple of other books one of my coworkers recommended that I am getting too.

Have you read any Janet Evanovich?  I love the Stephanie Plum novels and a new one comes out at the end of the month.

My mom had been trying to get me to read that series for years... I finished the first Plum book recently, and it was pretty good.  :)

Aww, Is anyone going to read this?

I'm planning on it, but i've been out of town almost every weekend for... 2 months. Haha. I'm out of town again this weekend (going to see Mr. Littrell, actually. LoL), but then I'm going to have time to give this book a try!

Keeping Faith. It's really interesting. It's about a little girl who claims to be able to speak to God.

Yes I did.   :)  I really hope they can make in an annual event like they want to.  I got to meet Leighanne for the first time (she is the funniest/sweetest person in the world!) and I finally got a hug picture with Brian. *sigh* LoL  So glad I was able to go.

Is no one going to read this? Because if not, we'll save it for another month. This book is too good for people to blow off.

Sorry, I'm reading this thread just because I'm like you and can't stand to leave threads unread, but no, I'm not going to get to the book this month.  I'm still reading The Stand, and I've been busy with wrapping up school and this class I'm taking this week.  To be honest, it didn't sound like the kind of book I'd get into just based on the synopsis, but I might be willing to give it a chance if you did save it for another month, when I wasn't already into another book.

Instead of doing a book of the month each month over the summer, what if this book was our summer book?
