So I reported Tanja both to Twitter and the Association for the Protection of Internet Copyright.  I'm not sure how much will come out of either, but we'll see!

Those of you with Twitter...

Add #bustTanja to the end of your tweets.  I'm trying to start a movement!  LOL

I just messaged somewhere around 30 people from fanfic.net, fictionpress, and similar sites who had been plagiarized by Tanja to spread the word about the new movement.  Silly Tanja... apparently she didn't realize that by stealing from so many DIFFERENT writers and fandoms, she would get exponentially more people pissed at her than just stealing from by website LOL.

I emailed Twitter to complain, and they got back to me.  If I can get permission from the author of the Supernatural fic she stole (and I already emailed him/her, just waiting on a reply), I can mail or fax an official complaint to them with proof of the plagiarism (like we did with Refresh), and they might be able to suspend her account.  I'm totally willing to do it if I hear back from the author.

Heard back from the Supernatural girl (assuming she's a girl)!  She was very grateful I let her know and said she was kind of entertained by it, cause it's never happened to her before.  She send a follow request to Tanja.  I asked her about pursuing the complaint with Twitter, so we'll see what she says back.

LMFAO I just popped over to Refresh... I messaged two of their mods YESTERDAY about this, and of course I've gotten no reply back.  Big surprise!

Meanwhile, like I said, I've been messaging all these authors whose work is on my list, and so naturally, some of them have joined Refresh to complain.  The mods are just gonna LOVE waking up to messages like this!!

Okay... so I've been informed that you've been stealing stories and it's come to my attention that you've stolen mine. Yeah, I wrote this under the HSM fandom with Troy and Gabriella, and I swear to ****ing god if you don't stop... there will be hell to pay. You're a ****ing bitch because you've stolen 68 stories from people. You think this is funny? I worked my ass off to write this and you're ****ing taking credit for it. Stop or there will be hell to pay... you hear me? I've delt with this for too ****ing long so go to hell.

And if you want the link to the real story as proof:
Can't Just Be Friends, a High School Musical fanfic - FanFiction.Net

Take it down and write your own goddamn work

BAN!  LOL  I hope at least a few of the Refresh teenies see that before it gets censored all to hell.

Oh dear Lord... again? Really? Honestly, what do you get out of plagiarizing? Copying off someone on a test, sure. You can get a better grade out of it. Not saying it's okay, but at least there's a reason to do it.

What do you get out of plagiarizing? Dumb.

Totally is, I think we've traced one of "her" stories to an original fic on fiction press.

Wow. I thought orig. fics would be too difficult to track.

It all just depends on what good old Google will find.  Original fics can be as easy as fanfics if they're posted somewhere like FictionPress.

Btw, I just spent a good hour or two adding to my little site LOL.  http://www.dreamers-sanctuary.com/tanja.html  I think I've added all your names to the supporter list, but let me know if I missed anybody.
