They keep telling me to run
That I’ve only begun
But I don’t know how
They tell me I can
That it’s all part of the plan
But I still don’t know how
My head is spinning
It’s only beginning
I don’t know where to go
My path has been chosen
But I feel like I’m frozen
My feet just won’t go
I look up to the sky
Thinking maybe I can fly
But I cannot move
My power is draining
I feel like I’m waning
But I still cannot move
But then I change my behavior
And look towards my Savior
And know that I am fine
I don’t need to conform
To follow the norm
Because I know I will be fine
My feet begin to tread
And I feel like I am led
Down the path I am supposed to be
Once again I am strong
I feel like I belong
On the path I am supposed to be
Now nothing can prevent
My being content
For You are the One
My life is complete
I will never miss a beat
For You are always the One
