MY CHRISTMAS WISH

"Tasha.... come play with us" Claudia called, from the door, Tasha smiled at her but shook her head,
"No .... I don't feel like it" she said softly, and watched as her friend ran down stairs giggling with the rest of the kids, She watched silently as it snowed outside, the side walks and trees where white with snow, and if she didnt feel so sad, she would of loved it.

Tasha sat by the window sill, looking dreamily outside, watching the snow fall, some of her friends were outside building snowmen, and having snow fights, but she couldnt bring myself to enjoy it, it was 10 days until Christmas, and the only thing she wanted was to have a family to spend it with,

"Tasha" Clair shouted, she turned and smiled at her, she was one of the ladies in charge of the ophenage, but unlike everyone else, they actully got along really well, she was so cool for a grown up,
"Yeah" Tasha asked, turning back to the window, she came and sat in front of her and smiled,
"You know the family that keep coming here to see you, got the adorabale little baby boy Bailey" she asked, Tasha smiled
"The Litrell's" Tash asked her, she nodded her head
"yeah, well Mrs & Mr Litrell want to know if you want to spend Christmas with them" she asked, Tasha's head shot up and she starred Clair in disbelief,
"Really" she asked, scrared to get to excited incase it was just a joke or something,
"Really, I promise I would never joke about something like this" Clair said with a smile, she couldn't believe it, someone wanted her to spend Christmas with them,
"Do you want to go," Clair asked Tasha who just grinned in response and nodded her head,
"yes" she shouted, as she threw my arms around around Clair in a huge hug,
"Thank you" Tasha shouted, trying not to cry,
"I'll go phone her, and tell her you accepted" Clair said walking out,

Tasha turned and smiled thinking of her first christmas with a real family, she couldn't wait to go, Tasha decided to put her jacket on, and go play outside with her friends.

"Baby .... we're home" Leigh heard from the front door, she ran into the lounge and saw her husband and his two best friends standing there,
"Hey Bri" she said throwing her arms around him, and giving him a huge hug,
"Hey Nick .... AJ" she replied hugging each of them,
"Nick and Alex are staying with us for a few days okay" Brian asked his wife, she just nodded,
"You guys know where your rooms are" Brian said turning to his friends.
"Thanks man" AJ said grabbing his bags as him and Nick went to thier rooms.

"Bailey" Brian replied with a grin, when he saw his 3 year old son, he picked him up and spun him around,
"Daddy" Bailey squealed with laughter,
"Uncle Nick" he said excitedly streching his little arms out to Nick,
"Hey Buddy" Nick said, taking him from Brian, just then the phone rang,

"Hello" Brian said into the reciever, sitting down on the couch,
"okay, let me get her" he said, turning to his wife and handing her the phone,
"Hello ..... Leighanne speaking" she said,
"Uh...huh....Really....oh my gosh, thanks so much ..... My husband and I will be there to pick her up tomorrow ..... Thank you so much" Leighanne said as she hung up, with tears in her eyes, she turned to Brian,

"That was the ophanage, they said that they spoke to Natasha and she agreed to spend Christmas with us" Leighanne said, as Brian pulled her into a hug,
"Who's Natasha" AJ who now had Bailey asked the group with a grin,
"To young for you Bone" Brian said laughing,
"She's a 11 year old who lives at the Alantic Childrens home .... she's been there since she was 4, they sent her to a home when she was 5 but had to take her away because the father of the foster family was abusing her sexually and phsyically" Leighanne said, with tears in her eyes thinking of the little girl,
"She's just the sweetest thing, we somtimes go visit her, and Bailey adores her" Brian informed the two while taking Bailey from AJ's arms,

"Well i'm going to hit the sack, thanks man for letting us stay here" Nick said giving Leigh, Bailey and Brian a hug,
"Yeah, thanks again" AJ said, saying goodnight to everyone, he set off in the same direction as Nick,
"Night Bone" Nick said from across the hallway,
"Night Bro" AJ said back, then headed into his room and closed the door, Nick walked into his room too,

"I'll put Bailey to bed" Brian offered, Leighanne kissed her baby goodnight while Brian took him to his room. After he had made sure Bailey was asleep he left Bailey's room in search of his wife,

"Leigh" Brian called softly, Leighanne smiled and turned around,
"Out here" she called, Brian went outside, and saw her standing on the porch,
"you okay" he asked, walking up behind her and putting his arms around her waist,
"Yeah, I just can't believe we get Natasha for Christmas, there's something about her" Leigh trailed off,
"that just makes you adore her" Brian asked, Leigh nodded and smiled at her husband,
"Thank-you for agreeing to this" she said, as she kissed him,
"You don't have to thank me, I'm just as happy as you are, and I know if Bailey knew what was happening he would be just as excited about it" Brian said,
Just then their favorite Christmas song, started playing through the radio.
"Can I have this dance" Brian asked, grabbing Leighs hand, she smiled at her husband, and wrapped her arms around his neck, while he pulled her closer as they slowly swayed to the christmas song,

Bells will be ringing the glad, glad news

When the song finished, Leigh pulled away from Brian and grinned at him, "I love you Bri" Leigh whispered, "I love you too Leigh" Brian said, and kissed her, as they headed to bed, After they climbed into bed, and settled down, Brian turned to Leighanne, "Baby, I've been thinking" he stared smiling widley at her, "I know how much you adore Natasha, so if everything goes well at Christmas, what would you say about adopting her" he asked, Leighanne looked into Brian's eyes, "Really .... I mean, Bri adopting a child is a big move," Leigh said, not breaking thier gaze, "I know, but we both think she is amazing, Bailey adores her, think about it, she is 11, no one else is going to want her," Brian said seriously, "You've really thought alot about this havent you" Leigh asked her husband, Brian smiled and nodded, "yeah I have" he said "Well if it goes well, we'll ask her" Leigh said with a huge smile, "Great" Brian added, then kissed his wife goodnight, and snuggled into the covers, and fell asleep with Leighanne in his arms, dreaming about the daughter he was going to have for Christmas, and how he would make it the best Christmas she could ever have.
