Nick Carter had been feeling empty; like a shell as he did his daily routine with his band members. Things just weren’t the same anymore. He could feel himself slowly suffocating in his life as a Backstreet Boy. He wasn’t sure if he wanted an escape or just some time away from his overbearing “brothers.” It wasn’t until he saw her when he could feel the void within him slowly start to fill. He would do anything to be near her, anything to see her…even bail out on one of Backstreet’s biggest opportunities. He knew he had to get his act in gear and stop slacking off, but lately he didn’t care about anything. The only thing he cared about was her…suddenly he finds himself happy…a feeling he isn’t quite used to. He would do anything to keep this feeling; terrified of her learning the truth and losing this bliss…he did the only thing he could. He lied. He would do anything he could to shield her from discovering the cold, hard truth in which could ruin everything.
