OK, I read this whole thing in one sitting. All I can say is...WOW! You are an amazing writer. Unfortunately, I am all too familiar with a lot of your story. It's really difficult to just have "friends with benefits" without falling for the guy (or the other way around). So, in a lot of ways, you've written the story of my life. LOL I know just how it feels to fall for the guy and then run away because of the fear of getting too close. I don't know what is more scary-falling in love or admitting to yourself that you are falling in love. Anyway, I can't wait for an update. Yeah, I just joined AC, but you've already got a fan!:)

Author's Response:

What an amazing compliment, thank you!  I think that this story is actually more common than a lot of people think...I think one of the scariest things can be letting ourself go and falling in love, especially if you are an independent woman.  And I must agree, admitting it is half the battle.  I hope I can live up to your expectations, there is so much more to come, so stayed tuned.  Thanks for reading and reviewing!

I love how Nick is so possessive (in a good way) of Quinn. What guy wants to hear another man talking about what he thinks he is gonna do to his "Chippee?" LOL. Great update as usual. BTW-I know you aren't crazy about anything besides Nick fics, but I'm currently co-writing one called "Have it All." It's an AJ/Kelly Clarkson fic (yeah, I already know you can't picture it), but I would love for you to read it. Plus, it gets much better as it goes along. We've got 14 chapters written (we originally started this on a Kelly site-but it's down), so we should have updates pretty quickly for awhile. It's no "Casual," but I hope you'll give it a chance. Anyway, enough about that. This is my absolute favorite fic here. I even told my co-writer to read it and she's hooked, too! Please update again, soon. This fic is like literal Vicodin!;)

Author's Response:

Oh wow...thank you thank you thank you...what an amazing compliment.  I am so glad that you are enjoying this story!  I have really enjoyed writing it as well.  Keep the feedback coming, it keeps me motivated to update...there is so much more to come, stay tuned - in a lot of ways, we are really just getting down to the nitty gritty!

I will have to check your story out...reading non-Nick is a stretch for me :o)  Thanks for reading and reviewing!

You know, there's A LOT of fanfics out there-and I read anything and everything. But, there are the rare handful of them that actually "bother" me-and I mean that in a good way, if that's possible. They bother me because I swear that the author is writing bits and pieces of my life. I mean, obviously, I haven't slept with Nick, LOL, I should be so lucky. But, it's the things like Quinn's column-especially the last one-that have me in tears. It takes a really good writer for a complete stranger to find herself in. I don't know if that makes sense. Anyway, amazing, as usual. Please update soon.

Author's Response:

You win the prize for nicest feedback...thank you so much.  I am glad that Quinn is a relatable character, at first, I was worried that she wouldn't be because her life appeared to be so good that it seemed a little unrealistic.  In all honestly, Quinn is a lot of me, with a few bits and pieces of my girlfriends thrown in.  I have worried a lot that she would be unlikeable because of some of the things that she does, so the fact that you can relate to her and understand that she isn't some evil person out to hurt Nick means a lot.  You will be glad to know that I have already started writing the next chapter and there is so much coming up.  Stay tuned, thank you again for reading and your heartfelt review.  Hugs!

Wow! I've told you this before, but it scares the hell out of me how much I can relate to this story-minus the celebrity part of it, of course.;) You said that you were worried that Quinn wouldn't be a believable or relatable character. Well, maybe she's not-to everyone else. But in a lot of ways, I see myself in Quinn-especially in this last chapter. Self sabotage is one of my specialties. It's hard to realize that the best things are probably right there in front of you. So, why are we always looking for the next best thing-especially when the last best thing is already there? Is it the fear of being loved, unconditionally? Maybe. Anyway, great update. This fic is like free therapy! LOL Please update, soon.

Author's Response: Free therapy?  Scary thought that I am a source for that lol...especially considering that like you, Quinn is VERY relatable to me, or pretty similar to who I used to be when I was single.  We will eventually get to the root of her issues, more and more seems to keep surfacing as I write, so who knows, by the end of this we may have to have her committed (kidding).  I have so much more planned here...thanks for always leaving me such awesome feedback!  Hugs!
