That is really a hard situation... i can understand that she left though it was probably not the best to do without talking to nick. nick is right... all he can do is sit and wait... and, that was more than sex definately!!!

Author's Response: Yea it is difficult, but I do agree that I think it was more than sex. You'll just have to see how long that it takes Alyssa to figure that out.

okay... here we go... i finished the story. so that means, that this is going to be the last review.
first of all... let me tell you that this story is really one of the best i ever read. i loved it from the beginning till the end, even with all ups and downs in there. i could not stop reading it and... i can tell you that i really hope that you'll get the sequel start soon cause i really have no idea what to do in the meantime. i need something to read haha. and i really want to read what is going to happen to alyssa and nick in the future now that they finally get together. i hope you let them marry and get a baby. i really hope.
well and i love the final chapter. her idea about the deja vu of the first night they spent there... then how she first show it to him and what she told him. i could feel how important that was for nick after all. i'm soooooo happy for them.
okay... all i can say... wanna read MORE and i love you for that story!!!

let me say... i still can say, that this is one of the best story i've read so far. i even recommented it to a friend who fell totally in love with it too. She's always telling me that she can't stop reading (i guess she's at chapter 7 now haha).

I guess i haven't said something to the opening scene of the chapter... though i have to admit that i don't like sean that much the whole scene was kinda sad :(
Damn, that is not that easy to deal for nick. I think he is not willing to forgive shayla and stay with her only because the media wants to see them together. maybe it is a good idea to think a little bit about the whole situation.
and last but not least. pretty strengthfull of alyssa to not contact nick cause this would be the easiest way for her... to let her fall in his arms now that sean is gone. though i think it would be nice if she did haha.

Author's Response: Aww I am glad that you mustered up some sympathy for Sean. Nick is definitely in a very tough situation with Shayla. As for Alyssa falling into Nick's arms although it sounds nice her husband just left for Iraq. That would prolly not make her a very good person to immdiately take advantage of that fact lol

I love the chapter. It's so sad for her to be alone that special day. I knew that the flowers are from nick. and it was a sweet idea. same like the idea to spend the evening with her so that she has not to be alone. but... i'm sure that she is still hoping that there maybe is a chance though he agreed to her when she said, nothing happenend, friends and no moments alone.

Author's Response: Yea it was very sweet of Nick to do all that for her. Let's see how long they can keep to this "no moments alone" thing.

From the very beginning of the chapter I knew that she is pregnant. I can understand her reaction after the looooooong time she had to wait for this news. BUT... I have an idea in my mind that I had since the night that Alyssa spend with Nick and I'm quite sure that the idea is right. But I'll see.
Well I guess Shayla has a little bit too much hope that things are going to be okay again between Nick and her.

Honestly... I had tears in my eyes because of the present. and yes, he has no idea how big his part is in the life of her child. but yes, the way he is acting makes it a lot harder for her to go on with the lying, so she should tell him the truth. i mean, he is starting to thing that he did something wrong :(
and shayla... well he should come to a decision. it is not so fair. and haha, that didn't work about the telefon sex game :D

Author's Response: Nick's sweet behavior is definitely making things that much harder for Alyssa to decide what to do in her situation. Hah yea Shayla trying to coerce Nick into phone sex was a pretty funny scene!

OMG... what are you doing with me??? Again, i have tears in my ears. this was so whow...
i like the scene with the kiss. this was full of passion and yes, she can't deny the feelings.
but... this wasn't the best way to let him know about it but at least he knows it. i can understand that is probably more that he can't stand for the moment.
one of my fave chapter so far, i guess.

Author's Response: That kiss was so unexpected too. I was writing and it just kind of came out, so i guess it really did come across as passionate. Not the way you'd exect Alyssa to break the news, but since when do they do what it is expected or logical? Thank you for all your reviews!

You're welcome ;) We even recommended to anothere friend now, too! So, does that mean, that you probably gonna write some new stuff? Cause we already start thinking about what we should read when we finished this story. Would be awesome to get some more to read.

Author's Response: Ha lol Thanks so much! I should like hire you as a recuritor or something lol LOl There is a sequel to this story in the works, but I have been a little too busy the past few days to start it up. Maybe I can do that this weekend. In the meantime if you are looking fo something else to read there is actually a story before this one called Under my Skin (not sure if you read it or not.) I don't think its AS good, because I wasn't as strong of a writer back when I was writing it, but you might want to check it out. I also started a prequel called What Makes You Different about Alyssa and Nick back in their early 20's during the B&B days, but that is only 3 chapters in.

And you did it again... making me cry! Oh my god... i'm sure that this was the hardest decision for her to make. and she knew that she is going to hurt nick but probably has no idea how much she really hurt him :(
and well... i think it is a wrong decision. to go back to shayla now. yes he is alone, he is sad... but it is not the right reason to go back to shayla that he just can't have alyssa.

Author's Response: Yea it definitely is a very tough desicion for Alyssa to have to make and of course Nick isn't exactly showing her how much it hurts him. I agree that Nick shouldn't go back to Shayla, but that is one of Nick's major flaws. He can't be alone.

Well... I LOVE Teri and Tricia. And I think it was right to tell them everything. Now she knows that she doesn't have to go all alone through all this and that her friends will be at her side whenever she needs them. Though I agree that she should talk to Nick.

Author's Response: Teri and Tricia are great, aren't they? Of course they are going to stick by Alyssa which is a relief to her. And yes she should talk to Nick, but first she has to work up the nerve!

Again a great chapter. funny how teri thought that they hooked up in the church :D but, the part about their past shows that there has always been something between them. can't wait to find out what happened to katie and of course how the wedding is going to continue.

Author's Response: Ha yea the hooking up in the church thing was inspired by a conversation I had with a beta that went way off course. LOL I was telling her about how Alyssa and Nick hooked up at Kevin's wedding and she thought i actually meant during the ceremony not afterwards LOL. It was so funny I had to include it. You'll find out more about Katie throughout this story in later chapters.
