Jake grrr...I know he seems all nice and cute and studly as AJ so deftly put it but still I'm definitely on Team Nick in this sitch. I do really feel the frustration for the both of them, crazy crazy! They need to have sex and it's going to be rather explosive I'm sure (in more ways than one I bet!) I'm so excited yay! Grrr to Jake in some ways, but I think Jake MAY be a good thing...depending on how you look at it.  He is definitely adding something new to the mix here...and messing with our already issue-infested Quinn.  I'm sure a lot of readers are on Team Nick...Jake isn't necessarily a bad guy...or so it seems at the moment.

Author's Response: At least you are holding yourself accountable for my lack of sleep, bugged out eyes and sore fingertips from typing the nearly 7000 words in this chapter lol.  You are so right, we are at a critical point in the story, lots of stuff is getting set up...and as you know, there is LOTS of drama.  Thanks for staying on me and not letting me slack and take the easy way out!  I'm glad you liked the changes I made today, last night it was missing something!  And I even got a review out of it...Hugs!

whoa, intense! Exactly how it needed to be too. We need to see Nick's weaknesses and his insecurities. He's not perfect,and neither is Quinn. I think thats what makes them such likable characters. They make enormous mistakes, it makes them almost tragic. Kind of like the characters of a tragic romance. The mistakes they make are making a huge ripple that will definitely impact the rest of the story and I hope that they eventually work through and learn from these mistakes. I think it's also great work with Riley and Chris. The friends are crucial in this since they help try to balance and make sense of what otherwise would be a chaotic situation.

I think you've got a pretty cute start here! I like the chemistry between the girls they seem to be really close which is a good thing for illustrating friendship! Only thing that kinda threw me off was just the spacing being so close, but other than that it's a really good start! First chapters are always the hardest to write I think. Sounds like a creative idea I'm definitely looking forward to more!

Author's Response: Aw, thank you! And as for spacing, if you're referring to sentences seeming like they're running together, I'm working on that. lol. I don't quite get the spacing on this site yet! For someone who's only 23, I'm pretty computer illiterate. lol. Oh yeah, and I totally agree about first chapters. They are pretty hard sometimes, cause it's so new and you're still trying to find out how you want things to progress. This story is totally experimental for me, since it's my first fic in like 3 or 4 years...haha. I'm definitely hoping to take it further than I've ever taken any of my other fics. I've only actually completed ONE in all the ones I've ever written! I'm hoping it progresses well, I've got lots of ideas spinning around in my head right now! LOL. Any advice or feedback you have is much appreciated:) Thanks for reading!
