Stories You Track is a mod for efiction that is intended to be used when you are reading a story that is in progress. When you track a story, you'll see a link in your profile with a list of all the ones you are tracking. There will also be a date showing the last time you read the story - in case you forgot then you can compare that to the date the story was update to know if you missed out on an update or what have you.

Favorites was meant for stories that are already finished. You can use it either way.

There will be other little mods being deployed and a list of what they are and what they do will go out so everybody knows, at least that is the plan at the moment.

Track This Story won't email you when a story is updated, which in my case wouldn't matter since I don't get emails from the site cause I have stuff like that turned but if I track a story I can see when it was updated last. Plus it says "new" next to the title. You don't have to use it but the feature is there.

The recommendation s are meant for off site stories but I don't see the problem with rec'ing in house stories.

How exactly would you track a story? like with favorites there is a little thing u push at the bottom to add to your favorite authors or stories, so how do you do it for track a story?

Thanks

^ Once you open a chapter of the story you want to track, at the bottom you'll see a scroll down screen that says option. One of those options is to track the story. :)

I found the Top 10 Tracked Stories. Is there a way to see if any of your own stories are tracked?

I don't think so. It's not that kind of feature. It's when people favourite stories that the author can see that. Tracking is meant to be temporary.
