Thanks ladies. I need to figure out where I want the next chapter to go. There's not a whole lot between February and April in 1998 besides the tour and the guys being in LA again for a day, then some recording in the studio. I'm using a real life timeline for this story. I suppose I could either do some filler or a time skip cause the next major event is Brian's surgery but I want something to lead up to that when things are starting to get to a head with this Brian/Leighanne/Nick drama.

I'm team time skip forever! Or possibly team "I'd rather talk about this so lets pop in to a couple short snippets of things that happened between x and y, then let's focus on thing y."

Using real timelines is hard! In my holiday story, I knew it made more sense in 2000 based on what they were up to at the time, but I just didn't want to deal with the fiancee issue, so I picked 1999. You're brave for being as realistic as possible!

Get to the surgery!  But you can always use the tour and recording as opportunities for Nick and Brian to be together and Leighanne to horn her way in if you need more to happen before the surgery.  LA might be a good place for some drama to go down.

Loved it!  I left my thoughts on AO3.

I just thought of something else you could include that would be coming up very soon in your story's timeline:  the filming of "A Night Out With the Backstreet Boys."  I looked it up, and they filmed that in Cologne, Germany on March 28, 1998.  Brian and Nick were both so sexy in that video, I don't know how they would resist jumping into bed together afterwards LOL.
