Rick Riordan books
« on: October 09, 2011, 10:48:57 PM »

I didn't see a thread for this already, if there is sorry I duplicated. :)

Okay I love, love, LOVE all of his children book series.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Kane Chronicles and now Heroes of Olympius!!  Is anyone else reading his books?   Maybe it is my love of Greek/Roman and Egyptian mythology that gets me so into these books but I think they are fantastic! :-D

I've just read The Lightning Thief.  It was pretty good, but I never felt the urge to go read the rest of the series.  I thought it was clever, though, all the mythology stuff.

I can't seem to get enough of his books!  Of course like I said, I'm a sucker for mythology, especially the ones he writes about!

I don't think my love for mythology comes across in my story titles.. "Chronos" "Antigone" ... I have 2 in my head that involve Apollo and Aphrodite.. *sigh* love me some greek mythology

I enjoyed the Lightening Theif but same here. I think he's a great writer though, somewhere down the road I might try another.
