I don't read a whole lot of fanfic, but I adore suspense, supernatural, and funny stories.

I wish I could have voted for more than on choice lol I love Suspense, Action, Drama, Angst, Humor and horror/surpernatural. I'm not a fan of romance at all or fantasy and AU it really depends. I'm kind of picky about AUs lol

Good poll dragonstar. :)

I'm a horrible sucker for romantic comedies, but I love all generes! I'm so moody, it's nice to be able to find something to match whatever it is I'm feeling.

I just about checked every single one of those (except Romance...whic h is okay as a subplot but as the main plot is just not my thing...lol) but I suppose when I think about it, I really favor suspense above all else. But I'll read just about anything so long as it's well written.

The multiple voting thing works. :)

I love to write AU and Fantasy. Simply because it gives me the author, the most control over the world I want the chatracters to live in. :)

I like AUs because it allows me to cintinue my fandom and still create a lot of my own characters, which I love doing, and explore senarios of what might happen if the Boys were in a different sort of world. :)

I'm parital to fantasy because it's what I like reading. So I like writing it. :D

I voted for what I read in real life... suspense being probably the number one, I'm like Chaos... I dont' mind if romance is the subplot, but not the main plot. ( I tend to write those too... mostly) HEH

I must just not get enough romance in real life... been married over 5 years now. Guess the honeymoon's over. I have to make up for it in books. But I do agree there has to be more too it than just romance.

Angst/horror would definitely be at the top of my list... there's just something about inner torment that's so... captivating, for a lack of a better word. Unfortunately, I haven't really seen any kind of fan fics in this genre - because I don't include slasher fics and the like. It's the deep, psychological stuff that screws with your head that I'm interested in.

But I also often dabble in drama/tragedy. For some reason, I can be a really morbid person, so the more pain characters are put through, the more I enjoy it. But only if there's a purpose behind it all - a story has to have meaning, too. ;)
