I had an idea of posting videos of us reading from someone else's story and you had to try and guess who was reading.  But then I realised I don't know how to do this without seeing who posted it, lol

It could be done if there was one person who collected them all and knew who was who. Just record video with our camera app like you would take a picture and email it.

You really don't sound like a Jersey girl!  I love the way you read the beginning of Finding Carter; it sounded so natural... further proof that you did a great job with the first person narration.

I am getting so frustrated with the record thing. For some reason you can barely hear anything I have been trying to record on Instagram or voice memo! I don't know why, I have it on full volume. I have some things already recorded on voice memo with my kids and I but I have no idea how to get it off the iPod onto anything else lol

Is your hand on the mic? You should be able to see your voice memos when you sync with iTunes.

Thank you, Julie. When I was writing Finding Carter I would write it and read it out loud as if I was Nick telling the story, it helped me a lot ro get the first person POV fo sound more natural.

Probably Howie in Finding.Carter cause he was a huge jerk in that story. I thought it would be fun to make him the bad guy since most stories I write I barely include him unless it was a.one shot.
