Getting to know you through your words!
julilly:
How did you decide on your favorite chapter? Did you know what your favorite was ahead of time, or did you have to really think about it or narrow it down?
Honestly? I picked the one that every time I've read it I think "There's no way I wrote this, it's too good." LOL Maybe that's pretentious, but that particular story I've tried to pick back up a few times so I've re-read it to refresh my memory and every time I click on it I'm just in awe that I wrote that - so it was the first one that came to mind when I tried to think of a favourite.
What makes your best beginning a great start to a story?
I found this question harder than the favourite question if only because I have a difficult time starting and finishing stories. I think that the story I chose just set the scene pretty well and off the bat painted a picture of what the period was like (it's historical) and why we care about the main character. At least, I hope it did that.

awe Mare I'm glad someone was reading the chapters I chose for this thread. It made me smile so much to see you reading When I Grow Up. it's not one of my best stories but it was fun to write and I liked the idea a lot. It's different. Glad you are enjoying it.
I might have to go through some other people's entries and see if anything strikes my fancy. this idea was great.

I was curious to read some of the scenes people picked for different things and of course I always go to the bromance and brotherly bonding chaps and your chapter from When I Grow Up drew me in.
I'd like to check out more from everyone else but that will have to wait since I picked up another story for the reading challenge. But I do plan on clicking on a few more stories from everyone who participates in this thread.
Rose:
ooh you just reminded me to reply to my reviews. LOL.
