Since I know you check the forum from time to time, I'm leaving you some questions to answer
1) Tell us one thing about your story that no one else knows?
2) How long did it take you to write this entire story?
3) Give us a summary different from the one you have posted on AC, with a few more spoilers to make people tune in.
4) What made you come up with the concept of this one?
5) Who was your favorite character in this story and why?
6) You had to know this was coming, who was your least favorite?
7) Are all the boys in this one? If not why did you choose to exclude them?
Also, I hope you consider participating in the reading challenge. I think it would be a good fit for you!
Aww thanks Mare for the featured story of the month and the kind words! I'll give a go to answer the questions.
1. I don't really know how to answer this question lol I guess I could tell you this: I really struggled with this story. I started it when I was doing my DipEd and finished it when I was doing my thesis. So I was completely swamped with writing but the whole reason I started it in the first place was because I was so swamped and needed a release. So all my anxiety went into this story.
2. It took about a year and a half to two years to complete. I stopped writing for a long period when I really needed to catch up on work.
3. The guys are on their hiatus after the Black and Blue hiatus and have not been in touch. Nick rings Kev in the middle of the night highly distressed. Howie and AJ come to the rescue but find out that Nick has taken some heavy duty drugs. The guys all come down to Florida to be with Nick and get him through this mess. In the process they try to get their friendship back on track.
4. The song 'Lift Me Up'. It reminded me of Nick's hard years. When Nick sings on it, I can hear his emotion and I played with the idea of him being the one to actually write it. (It was really written by Darren Hayes of Savage Garden. Aussie Aussie Aussie!)
5. Favourite character was Howie. Second favourite was Kevin.
6. Brian lol
7. All the boys are in this one!
With the reading challenge, do you have to pick a full story or can you just pick a one-shot to read?
