August challenge

Okay this one isn't a picture challenge. Since the story of the month is a sequel, your challenge is to write a short story as a prequel or sequel to any of your stories you have out there now.


Perhaps a continuation or a whatever happend to...type story.

Whatever you like.

It can only be one chapter though but there is no word limit.

And it can also be for a short story you have written. It doesn't have to be from a longer novel.

I hope some of you do this, it'll be fun.

Also use this as a place to request certain authors to write on certain stories that they might not have thought about.

Like for me, Mersey if you write one I want to know what happened after Stay With Me ended.

Owh, and I'm working on mine as we speak. Already have a title..


She's gone. And so am I.

Edit: I re-read the challenge.. and my guess is, that I am AGAIN not completely following the rules..  :-[ Shame on me.. I'll just have to write another one then..

What if you don't like any of your own stories enough to write a prequel or sequel?  LOL   I guess that's where the challenge part of it comes in.  I'd do it for Broken/BMS, but I already have a "prequel" type thing going with Footprints, and I don't wanna write a sequel thing for BMS until it's done.

I don't know how you're supposed to call it. It's kinda the same story, told from a different point of view. But with a different starting and ending point. So yeah, not a sequel, not a prequel..

That's what my story Footprints is too, although it does start before where Broken starts, so it's kind of a prequel too.  If I hadn't started it already, that's what I would have done for this challenge LOL.  I think telling it from another POV is interesting, whether it fits with this challenge or not.

you could do a sequel to Broken but told fomr the POV of someone other than Clare or Nick? lol like in the small space of time between when Broken ends and BMS starts
