Crying so much, but well done on finishing Julie.  That had to have been as hard to write as it was to read, but thanks for sharing it with us.  I absolutely loved it :)

Congrats on finishing your story! :) I hope it wasn't too hard for you with everything going on with your friend.

Thanks, Mare!  I was worried about that, too, but this has been going on long enough, both in the story and in real life, that I was able to separate the two and not let it mess with me.  It's scary how life imitates art sometimes, though. :(

Thanks, Steph! :)  It was hard to write.  I can't imagine ever writing something like it again.  I've killed Backstreet Boys before, but never in such a long, drawn-out way.  That's the part that got to me.  But the challenge was what made it fun to write, even when it got hard.  Thanks so much for reading and for all your feedback along the way!

I finally delivered on my promise of going back to Guilty Roads now that Curtain Call is done.  Chapter 11 of GR is up!  Hopefully it won't take me 8 months to finish the next one; it's already half done.  Undead is still top priority, but since it's not my turn on that one for a few chapters, I'm hoping to concentrate on GR for awhile.  Thanks for sticking with me!

Wow, it's been like two months since I last updated one of my own stories!  FAIL!  I'm trying to make up for that with a new story I posted today called "Half the Man I Used to Be."

I decided I'm done trying to push myself to write outside the box and update my other stories; from now on, I'm just going to stick to what I'm good at.  That said, this is another Nick cancer story, which is all I'm going to be writing from now on (besides finishing Undead, of course!).

All my Nick cancer stories will be linked in a new series I posted called The Cancer Carter Chronicles.  Check them out here: http://absolutechaos.net/viewseries.php?seriesid=238

The first two chapters of "Half the Man I Used to Be" are up.  I hope you enjoy them!!  Please review and let me know what you think!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Backstreet Boy
« Reply #434 on: April 21, 2012, 05:13:01 PM »

I posted another new story!  My first real crossover!  Not a joke! LOL

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Backstreet Boy:
http://absolutechaos.net/viewstory.php?sid=10904

Believe it or not, I attempted a BSB/Harry Potter crossover about ten years ago, when I first got into HP, but it never got far enough to post. I got the idea for this one last summer, in the midst of all the Deathly Hallows Part 2 mania, but only really got going on it in the last couple of weeks.

I feel kind of bad posting it when I should be trying to update Guilty Roads or Secrets of the Heart, but I finally decided it was better to update something new than not update anything because I haven't felt like writing those other two.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy, and if you do check it out, let me know what you think! :)
