Poor Nick, sounds awful to be lying there in an induced coma with his chest open like that and tubes everywhere.  I'm glad he's got everyone around him though.  I did like what Brian said to him though, I'm sure he will appreciate it if he can hear him.

Can't wait for more, but with organs failing I'm sure it'll be no happy ending for Nick :(

Thanks!  Poor Nick is right.  At least he had no idea what's going on at this point because that would be really freaky.

Surprise!  Chapter 45 is up, and it's super cheesy!

Loved having two chapters to read.  It was good for Nick to see Arya and his dad and sister, but I'm glad he made the decision to go back to the land of the living, it was a sweet moment though with them.

So happy he's going to be ok (for now) and that he's conscious again, Brian was right to get the restraints off as he would've been terrified to wake up and be tied down again.  I'm also pleased that Dani and Rob have been caught, those sick bastards need to be locked away for a long time.

Great chapters, looking forward to seeing how it all ends :)

Thanks!  It was nice writing a couple of sweet, semi-uplifting chapters after all the drama.  Glad you enjoyed them!

I have no willpower to refrain from updating now that I'm done writing AHTIM, so Chapter 47 is up!  I may be done posting it by this weekend LOL.

Wow three chapters to read, and I loved it!

I really thought you were killing him off with a heart attack after all he'd been through lol, but I realised it was a dream once Dani and Elizabeth showed up, or should I say nightmare.

Super sweet reunion with Odin and what a lovely Christmas Eve they had.

Looking forward to seeing how it all ends, I've really enjoyed this story.

LOL I added that dream scene in later, 30% to show an example of how traumatized he still is, 70% to mess with readers' minds and make you think I was going to kill him off after all.  So evil!  I'm glad you enjoyed the chapters. One more to go!  Thanks so much for the feedback!

A Heart That Isn't Mine is finished!  Chapter 50 is up.  I wrote an author's note that is linked at the bottom, but let me just say here, thank you to those who read and gave feedback along the way!  I sincerely appreciate it!

Just finished reading it, so glad they got what they deserved and will be locked up for the rest of their lives. Glad the judge didn't fall for Dani's bullshit sob story, she is a lying bitch who was just trying to get off with it!

Love how you included everything that was said in the birth, I remember watching that video and feeling so emotional when Nick said "she's alive"

When done on finishing another brilliant story, enjoyed every moment of it and look forward to whatever comes next :)

Thank you!  That video Nick posted of Saoirse's birth was so beautiful and touching, I had to use it.    I'm so glad you enjoyed the story.  Thanks for reading and giving feedback along the way!

So so sorry I haven't caught up on this story yet. I do plan on binging and trying to read this week. Things have been kind of crazy this month. Congrats on finishing the story can't wait for what you do next.
