I'm glad my little email gave you push you needed! I love the tenderness of the last part of this chapter, how Nick blurts out his fear and she follows with hers, then they tell each other the thing they love. I am interested to hear more after all of it is processed in therapy. The trust issue is going to be huge, lots of work on that front to come, I'm sure. The whole thing with Mark plays into that, good for Adie for admitting it, but she has concealed a whole part of herself from Nick and left a lot out. And, made Nick to feel like he was the bad guy. Can't wait for more, great job as always!

The next therapy session is going to focus on Nick and his issues so that should be interesting because he has some thoughts about how different her life was to his when really it wasn't. This is by far the best chapter you have written in this story!
It was full of raw emotion. I am so happy for the both of them, they are making so much progress. I am so glad that Adie finally opened up to him about some of her feelings and why she did what she did. I like how you kept writing Nick in when he would cut Adie off, that seems like something he would totally do.
My favorite part of this chapter is by far the ending. The way you wrote how they completed their "homework" was awesome. I absolutely adored the baby kicking scene and where Nick is wondering why his body is waking up at 3:30 in the morning,lol. The line where Nick stated "I'm too tired for sex, promise in the morning." was a nice touch definately funny!
I am so happy that they have both stated their fears and their love for each other. I can't wait to see what happens in their next therapy session; see what Nick has to say about everything including his past.
One quick thing..do you have a baby's name planned? If so when are you going to tell us what its going to be? Great update and hurry back with the next one!

I wanted to portray Nick as being eager to know everything to the point where he got impatient because she couldn't tell him quick enough and I think it worked very well because in situations like that emotions do run high and people can get impatient. Nick's therapy session will be in about two chapters time but there will be lots revealed in that one!
I tend to have some of my most heartfelt but also difficult conversations late at night I'm not sure whether it is because you're both in bed and vunerable or because it's dark but it just works really well and I just had to use it for this story. Nick was telling her his fears but at the same time he didn't have to look at her and she couldn't see him that well to see how much he was hurting, it's like a protection mechanism.
Yes I do know what she is going to be named and you will also find that out within the next few chappies!

I feel like we are on the verge here...Nick is about to blow, and for good reason...I love the way you showed him indifferent to the situation with the counselor then jumping Adie's ass for something unrelated. And on the flip side, I love that you showed her CANCELLING counseling, which she MAJORLY needs...and then admit she is avoiding him to protect herself. Good stuff, you rule, update soon!!!
Author's Response: There is going to be a revealing scene in the n ext chapter where Adie realises something and Nick won't even have to say a word! She definetly needs to therapy sessions but with him going away soon things are going to get more difficult for them, and certain things playing on Nick's mindre going to cause trouble! I liked this chapter. My favorite part though was how you ended it. Adie is suprising me in every chapter, the way she just openly said, "I want you to come with me." & "I don't want there to be anything between us by the time she comes." is a HUGE thing for her. I am so glad that she is finally talking and showing her past and emotions.
Nick is doing a good job too. I really hope that he doesn't hold in his feelings anymore because that would just ruin the progress that he is making. I agree with him on the situation with Adies job. I dont really like her character working at the ER either while she is pregnant. I know he has an issue with her working their period but I just think its unsafe & unhealthy for her since she is pregnant. Not only is she putting her and the baby in danger but she is also around the sick people and what not. I just hope nothing happens to her or the baby.
With Nick going on tour things should be getting more interesting since they are back together and Adie is hormonal as ever! I hope that the baby doesn't come early as I really want Nick to be there (although the birth is still far off....hopefully!)
Nick & Adie are making good progress together. I just hope to see more scenes of them "in love & happy" especially before he goes away. It would be a nice change since we haven't seen that side of them in awhile.

It is a huge step for Adie to invite him alng but I think she wants to have everything sorted and out nthe open by the time the baby comes. I'm not sure if that is going to be possible because there is a lot of stuff! But she is a bit of a control freak like that.
You are going to see more of Nick over the next few chapters, I'm not sure if there is going to be anymore diary enteries, I need to think about how to slot them in but there is going to be a revealing therapy session in which Adie will realise a few things about him. It's going to mke her see why he has been so shut off. And you are going to get your wish about seeing them more in love and happy because I have a few aww so sweet scenes coming up!

I was wondering when you would update, and you finally did!
I really liked this chapter. It was completely raw & emotional. The way they were with each other was great! I am so happy that they finally opened up to each other in more than one way, and I can't wait to see what happens in therapy.
The scene you wrote where Nick went eye level with her stomach was adorable. The way he just started talking about baby stuff and what he was learning was so cute, I am glad you added that Adie needed to see that. I'm glad Nick finally cried in front of her, and I mean really cried. She finally needed to realize that him breaking down his walls wasnt going to fix their situation, she needs to do it too.
Great update and I can't wait for more!

I have to admit that this chapter and the previous have been the hardest to write because I don't want to give too much away at the moment but I also do not want it to seem like everything is fine and fixed and that they are going to live happily ever after! There is lots more to come about how they are both going to deal with how she left and Nick hasn't even begun to show her how she hurt him!
The scene with Nick was purely to show Adie how wrong she did have it, how wrong she had perceived him and his notions about not being a Father, just because someone says no to a hypothetical situation doesn't mean they won't change their minds when faced with the real thing. But then again can we really blame her for that after what Mark did to her?
All in all they have a seriously long way to go and thats not to say something won't happen to tear the apart further down the line! Thanks for reviewing!
