I don't know why this is the first time I am feeling like this, but this chapter has left me completely heartbroken. I know there has been emotional stuff going on, but this one hit me hard. I can't wait to see what is in the journals and Adie's reaction to them. Great job as always, glad you are back to regular updates! Hugs!

Really? I didn't think that this chapter was that emotionally strung but I guess it effects people in different ways! The journals have got so much in them and you are going to learn so much about Nick and all the changes in his life that he made for her. I am having a blast writing the journal enteries! Adie is also going to learn a lot about herself over the next coming chapters!
I am off for a weeks annual leave and I am hoping to get slightly ahead of myself so I don't leave you guys for weeks like I have been doing! In regards to your earlier question about AIM I don't have it at the moment, I'm currently on a course with work and I just found it way too distracting when I was supposed to be doing my work for that. Should have it back by the end of the month though! Until then feel free to email me! When are we going to have more Nick and Quinn??!!! None of my faves seem to be updating at the moment and I am super bummed because Oreos has finshed! It was a good ending but I am still very sad!! Air kisses! Mwah!

Yay an update!!
This was a very good update! I loved the fight between Adie & Rachel, that need to happen. I hope Adie does see that Nick is going to change and that he will be there for her. I can't wait to see what he does to convince her.
It was sweet how AJ talked to Adie, hopefully that conversation will sway her to give another chance. I can't wait for the next update!

By the way, there's a song by Lifehouse that everytime I hear it I think of this story, is called Whatever it Takes, I don't know if you've heard it but one of the verse that I love says; She said if we're gonna make this work, you gotta let me inside even thoug it hurts, don't hide the broken parts that I need to see, she said like it or not that's the way its meant to be, you gotta love yourself if you can ever love me.

True, there is no such thing as a perfect person, and Adie needs to understand that this applies to her too. She seems to hold everyone else to impossible standards while totally ignoring her own personality flaws. I've never liked people like that, and Adie is no exception! Instead of giving Nick the chance to prove his words worthy, she let's it all go because she can't accept what she perceives as a "perfect" life path may not be perfect at all. Funny how she can see Nick's faults so clearly, but when hers are pointed out to her, she runs away. Hypocrite! She's worked on my last nerve.

You have hit the nail straight on the head! She is so focused on his flaws and his problems that she is failing to recognise her own, she doesn't see that she puts herself in these types of situations from the decisions she has made in the past. Mark cheated on her and so she promised herself she would never let anybody do that to her again and yet she took Nick back in a heartbeat when he did it to her. It's almost as if she likes the drama of these impossible situations, she likes the arguments and can't believe that people can change which is quite funny considering the line of work that she is in.
You will start to see a different side of her soon though, I promise and you may actually start to like her! (GASP!) Thanks for teh review!

I wanted to add, I dont think Nick is perfect in all of this. But he seems to be trying to do better for Adie. However, Adie on the other hands seems totally oblivious to the fact that she isn't perfect either. She doesnt seem to realize that she isn't squeaky clean in this whole mess. She should've given Nick the choice...Me and a Family 9 a real one) or no me. Instead she just made the decision for them.
I want to feel bad for Adie, but I can't. I just don't feel sympathy for her at all.

I think I agree with Rachel. Adie is fucking selfish! She and Nick had a good relationship and he was really good to her. She is going ballistic all because he is afraid of marriage for an understandable reason, and he didn't want to try an get pregnant because he had a lot going on with the Boys. So she freaking leaves him in a NOTE!.
The she finds out she is pregnant and keeps it from him, only to have him walk in on her ultrasound....and what does he do? Not freak out that is for sure. He even smiled when he found out that he was going to have a little girl. So once again Adie is being selfish by not caring in the least bit about the fact that Nick just found out she is going to be a father, and she just fucking leaves again, only this time she doesn't even have the decenecy to leave a freaking note.
She is leaving him out of a lot of stuff. He should've been there when she told Rachel and Alex, even if they aren't back together, he should have been able to see the look on his friends faces when they found out.
I don't think Rachel was out of line in the least. Somebody needs to give Adie a slap in the face and wake her pregnant ass up.

I did chuckle to myself when I read your review because I love how into this story you have gotten, it makes me want to keep on writing! I totally get where you are coming from, Adie isn't squeaky clean at all and neither is Nick, they have both made mistakes and I think deep down Adie knows she has made a huge mistake that could possibly effect not only her but her baby and Nick for the rest of their lives. I don' think she realised how much it would effect her social circle either because Rachel is quite clearly peeved with her sister's decision and I don't think Adie was expecting that.
Onto the selfishness part - I think in some respects they have both been selfish, Nick for not being more open minded and Adie for making the decision that they couldn't be a family but don't think they are being intentionally selfish I think it is more of a self protection issue which will be bought up later on in the story.
Thanks so much for your reviews and please keep on reading because I am hoping to change a lot of people's minds about Adie even if it's not for a while yet!

Awww...and YAY! An update! I have been wondering where you've been! I think we all went MIA over the holidays, I was able to crank out a chapter just before Christmas but I have been at a stalemate since then...
Back to the subject at hand...another awesome chapter from you! I am so loving how Nick is reacting, and how Rachel and AJ are having different perspectives on the situation. I hate that Adie is so scared that she can't even give it a chance, but I do realize that Nick hasn't proven anything yet...we may still be in for a flip out from him, he is almost too perfect about the news!

I know how everybody is totally floored at his reaction but like you said he hasn't proven anything yet and there is still plenty of time for him to freak out and that is exactly what Adie is waiting for. If she goes back to him and then it happens it would just be catasphric for her and I don't think is strong enough for that. Rachel has totally sided with Nick and A.Jis keeping an even keel about the whole situation which is what they both need. He is going to play an integral part much much later on in the story and is Angel!
