Go NICKY!!!! I am so super proud of him! He called Adie out didn't he....LOVED it! I love that he is determined to be there for the baby even if Adie doesn't want him back.
Adie, ugghhh, sometimes she is such a bitch! I mean I understand wanting the perfect little life, but come on, you have a great guy right in front of you trying to give you everything you want and you are turning your back on it....STUPID, STUPID,STUPID!!!!!

Adie can be verrrrryyyyy stubborn but she is doing it because she has been hurt in the past and it is her way of protecting herself from feeling that hurt again. Plus there is so much more at stake now, she is going to become a Mom and right now I think she feels that getting back together would be a mistake because it wouldnt work and then there would be a baby right in the middle of it all!
What Nick said to her is going to play on her mind though and over the next few chapters I think you are going to see a different side to Adie, you may actually start to like her!! LOL! Thanks for the review!

OH OH OH!!! Excellent chapter...I loved it...and of course, I am pleasantly shocked at his reaction (he reminded me of my Quinn after the big love profession a bit in this chapter). I think what he said about Adie was dead on...and that they do have SO SO SO much to work through.
I don't know how many times I will say this, but I ADORE this story...I can't wait for more! Hugs!

I think most people were surprised at his reaction but I think you find that a lot in life. I mean it's one thing to have an opinion about a hypothetical situation but when you are actually faced with it for real your whole perception can change and that is exactly what has happened with Nick. The problem is Adie is having a hard time in believing him! The main reason for that is self protection because, although she tries to hide it, she is just as vunerable as Nick and what he said was soooo true. She can blame it all on him right now but if they get back together and they still failm it becomes about both of them.

aw. okay the genuine sparkle in his eye should be enough to know that at least he really wants to be there for the baby despite everything else. she is stubborn and he did nail her right where it hurt so I hope she realizes she needs to make some changes too. im glad he told her he would be there for their daughter no matter what. can't wait for more.

You're right it should have been enough to show her, hell him not running when he first walked in on her should have been enough of a clue but she is stubborn. If she goes back that means she made a mistake, that means that he will then be the one in control, that gives him the power to hurt her by leaving but because she did it before she had all the power. Control is her main problem, she needs to feel like she is the one in control, and by leaving it was all on her terms, just like raising this baby will be if they remain seperated. She needs to realise that she can let go, that although in the past Nick hasn;t always been there for her that things are now very different and that her leaving has made him gorw up!

Amazing update, I am so proud that he didn't run away. I also LOVED the way he yelled at her and called her out on the the failure part.
I also thought it was adorable when she said "she is due in november" and how he turned all soft. You can tell that he is already wrapped around the little girls finger,lol.
I can't wait to see how this story goes and what you have in store for it. I hope that they work everything out soon. Can't wait for the next update!

Adie was not expecting Nick's reaction at all because he was so against it when they had discussed it. People quickly change though when it stops being a hypothetical situation and that is exactly what he has done. She is very pesimistic at the moment and I think she just feels that it hasn't all sunk in for him yet and when it does he is going to run.
She is just as vunerable as Nick but I don't think she has admitted that to herself yet, she has been just as hurt as he has in the past, and I think she left him before he could leave her or hurt her, it was a way of trying to soften the blow because that way she was the one who was in control, she called the shots, it just backfired slighty!

so, this story was suggested to me by a reader on here. I am super glad now. I am really enjoying it. I have to admit that Adie really gets under my skin at times, but you can't help byt feel for her. I didn't want to comment after every chapter so that was for chapters 1-25......
Now for chapter 26. I had a feeling that Nick was going to hand over his journals to Adie. I am excited to see how that turns out....However the big event in this chapter was Nick walking in on the sonogram.....I really want to know what he is thinking and I hate how you left such a cliffhanger. I really hope he doesn't like totally spaz out and leave Adie there in the room alone. I really hope he is amazed by the sight of his child on the screen and cries or something....so that Adie can see some freaking emotion from him....
I am adding this to my favs, so please update soon.

Who recommended me? I'm intrigued. I'm glad that people think this story is good enough to tell others about it and I am really glad you were not dispointed.
Adie gets under a lot of peoples skins including her own! LOL! She has lots of issues that unlike Nick she hasn't really gotten to grips with yet, Nick knows his are there but she...well I think she has hidden them but eventually they will al catch up with her and it is going to be a lot sooner then she wants.
I have a feeling you will be quite happy with Nick's reaction but probably not Adie's! It's almost as if the tables have turned!

EVIL is my middle name! LOL! I was having huge dilemas about the past two chapters, originally it was supposed to be just one but I didn't want you guys to find out that she didn't loose the baby right away, the only problem was that it made the next chapter quite short. I think I got the point across though and I am really happy with how it turned out. Leaves you all wanting more! LOL!
With regards to how he found out: it just seemed the right way to go because her telling him would have just been so boring, it needed to be shocking and it needed to be completly unexpected for him. Hopefully the next chapter should be up by Friday! Hugs right back at ya! You need to get your hiney in update mode too!!!!

ahh. my exact thought was for him to give her the diaries too. omg. i cant believe thats how he found out. ahhh. i cant wait to see how he reacts. I wish it wouldnt be as bad as we are all expecting it to be..cant wait for more!
Author's Response: The diaries will play a huge part down the road but I think right now that thought will be completely lost on Nick as he tries to process what he has just found out. There was really no other way in which he could find out really, it had to be a shocking revealation and it makes for good reading. Thanks for the review!
