I like that you incorporated lyrics that worked with the storyline and used them in a sensible spot, recording. I like the relationship the doctor and Nick are foming too, their conversations. You can tell she really wants to help.

Author's Response: I like using lyrics in stories but only in sensible spots, like if someone is singing or writing them or whatever. Otherwise it comes off as cheesy lol. I'm glad you like the doctor/Nick relationship! Although she's based off Julie, she's asking the type of questions I've learned should be from all my psych courses lol. You know, the lone writer was just a toss in to complete the scene, I've been asked that before, but nope! Not me lmao. If anything, I think more of my personality goes into Nick a lot of the time. I love these Kevin and Nick moments! I'm not much of a Kevin girl, but I do love the relationship he has with the other guys, especially Nick and AJ. I'm glad Nick told him first, and I love these emails between the two of them. :)

Yay! So excited to see a new chap. Love how you incorporated "Story of my Life." It seemed to fit perfectly :). Interesting to see how Nick's diagnosis (and him hiding it) is affecting his relationship with Brian. And by the conversation he had with AJ, I wouldn't doubt that there's will be a little strained as well. Love the emails between Nick and Kevin. I really hope that he can open up to the guys. Good job :)

Again I am loving this story so much. I liked how you put the song in there, it seems to tie in well. I just heard it for the first time today and I love the song. Nick really should tell someone at least. That's what's eating him up, figuring out how to tell them. He's afraid they will treat him differently. I can understand the confusion he must be feeling, Alzheimer's is not easy to go through. My grandma kept insisting nothing was wrong with her even though we could tell she was changing. Awesome job, can't wait for more.
