I'm pretty sure that I read some of this somewhere before.. but I'm bored today so I'm going to start it all over from the beginning! Great start so far, Ashley! The writing is very descriptive and it's almost like you can see exactly what Brian is experiencing, which is so important for a story like this. On to the next chap!

Man oh man... Brian's ailment is EXTREMELY scary!! The way you wrote this, it was as if I was in Brian's shoes, and the way you described his pain was almost as if I could feel it. What a way to paint a picture with words. And on a lighter note, AJ couldn't stop swearing, even if his life depended on it, lol. Poor Brian... on to review the second chappy. :D
Author's Response: Seems to be the general consensus that I was able to write it so that the reader could feel as if they were in Brian's shoes, experiencing the pains and emotions right along with him. AJ's got my potty mouth, although I sometimes think I swear more then him. I have quite the potty mouth and I am known as the resident smart ass. LoL. I never write a review to a chapter when there's already way more story after it, but I can't help myself. I have to head to bed cause I gotta get up at 6 for class, so I can't keep reading, but I just want to let you know Ash, that this chapter is amazing. I cried a little *smiles sheepishly*. It's just so real! I felt like I was there right beside Brian, but being able to feel how sick and off he felt at the same time. It's so incredibly sad and heartbreaking. I cannot wait to read more of this story. First thing tomorrow afternoon when I get home, I'ma continue on with this thing. I don't even know if you'll see this, but who cares! You'll be hearing more from me when I'm done. Your writing is incredible. I'm highly impressed!

im confused...maybe its been awhile since iread that part, but didnt brian give up on surgery? or was that surgery on his own heart and he would be willing to get a transplant? either way, it can sorta be like john q cant it? minus the hostage situation of course, but like near the last minute he can get a donor! please!
Author's Response: It's not that Brian gave up on surgery, it's that Dr. Henrich in the beginning told him that further surgeries would be more detrimental to his deteriorating health. Brian isn't against the transplant surgery if they can find a donor. He's just always been against going to that cardiac center. Thanks for the review and I hope I answered you question. [Ashley]
