This is really good chapter
Cant believe that she was trying to make out that Nick was the bad guy. Also think that she went right to the partly b/c she knows that Nick will not say anything at the partly, im really surpise at Angel esp what Adie doing to her big bro.
Hope now she knows that Nick was not the only one that need to change it was also herself and She got a long road to go though if she gonna prove to Nick. That what get from this chapter

You are completly right in what you said about Adie going to the party because she knew Nick wouldnt say anything. She seriously manipulated him with that but he realised and I think that was one of the reasons he was so pissed off at her.

Well well well...looks like someone is bringing their A-game. AWESOME CHAPTER!!! I think that this is your best yet in this story...you did an amazing job conveying the emotion. I love that Nick just kind of snapped, it is like he is suddenly seeing everything very clearly and getting angry, justifiably angry. It's about time!
I like the way that you had the night she arrived go, and his reaction...so perfect! I love how blindsided Adie is by this whole thing, because really, she has been the one in control and doing what she pleased without thinking of him for some time now...and my how the tables are turning.
I don't know if she is ready for this...or has what it takes to make him stay. I love that although he went off, his mind is somewhat clear, and he is finally thinking and not letting her manipulate him.
I am really interested to see how Adie develops in this new scenario. I have a couple of theories on what she will do, both are very extreme in two completely different directions. I can't wait to see what you do, you always surprise me.
Keep up the great work...you are getting better and better and so is the plot. Can't wait for more, you are also so good about sticking to writing and updating regularly, I miss those days! I am feeling inspired today so hopefully I will get something out soon! HUGS!

Thanks for the A+mazing review sweets! I'm just glad that the emotion is coming over in the way I hoped because sometimes it can be really hard to convey it.
I thought the how the night went when she arrived would be a nice touch because it showed Nick that she hadn't worked on things, that she had been lying to not only him but herself and it kind of gave him that little push that he needed! His "Snapping" was inevitable really, it had always been just a matter of time but now it's out in the open.
I think it's going to be a huge shock for Adie because she is the one who is going to have to fight, she is the one who is going to have to put up with a pissed off Nick and she is going to realise what she put him through and it is going to be a bitter pill to taste! But I think it will do her the world of good!
Hope that you got a bit of writing done! I sooooooooo need a Nick and Quinn fix! I need to see if their night goes better then Adie and Nick's! LOL!

Okay I've had a very emotional weekend and today is no different. I've just watched The New Moon trailer so I'm freaking out and then I see that you've updated, so I'm freaking out even more.
This was the best chapter you've ever written!!
It has so much raw emotion and love in it, that I feel it pulling at my heart strings. I am so proud of Nick for so many different things. The fact that he finally stood up to her and confronted her about everything is amazing. I honestly am not surprised that he is tired of fighting; I'm not gonna lie there is a part of me that wants him to walk away from Adie, but the other part of me wants them to work this out. So I'm torn, either way though I'm sure I'll love how you end this story.
I'm glad that Adie has finally admitted that she will fight for them, the question is though, is she strong enough to do so? But I am disappointed in her, because once again someone has to force her emotions out of her. I thought it was quite funny when she tried getting out of talking to Nick a few times, I know all of us girls have tried that once or twice in our lives.LOL.
The way you write these two characters is really interesting; as I was reading them in this chapter I felt like I was standing there in the same room with them. I felt Adie's heart break, I heard the sound of Nick punching the wall and screaming at her. I can visibly see Adie crying. This definitely was an amazing chapter. One quick note, I love the title you chose for this chapter. I don't know if you did it intentionally or what. But "masquerade" fits well. Nick and Adie have been wearing masks the entire story and for the first time they are taking them off to face the truth. I just hope that they are both strong enough to handle the truth. You keep saying that!!! I am just glad that my writing is improving and getting better. I was up till two am writing last night because once I got into the flow, into the whole emotion of it I found I just couldn't stop.
I am feeling what you are saying about wanting Nick to walk away for his sanity but on the other hand I really want them to work through it too. They have been through so much to let it tear them apart but the jury is still out on that at the moment, I have two endings in my head and I am just going to see how things pan out over the next few chapters!
I think Adie is strong enough to fight for them, I think Nick showing how fragile he is, how hurt he is helped her to realise that she wasn't the only one who lost Molly. Then again with his explosion I think she is going to be scared of him but you will see all of that in the next chapter.
Thanks so much for what you said about actually seeing and hearing them. I know how amazing that is when I read stories, to feel like you are actually there watching these people, like you are in the same room is a huge testiment to the author and I am really shocked that I have been able to create that for you. This is just a little hobby of mine and to know that you enjoy it that much pretty much made my day!
I love the song Masquerade and none of the other lyrics fit about from the verse that Nick sang at the end, it just made perfect sense to use it in thia chapter and it fit as the title as well. They are both so lost at the moment and it just goes to show that you can put on a mask but if it's not who you really are everyone will eventually find out.

....wow.....just....wow! How in the HELL can she just act like nothing is wrong? Just come waltzing in like that and think everything is back to normal? She's walked out on him what? twice? three times now and she...god words are not coming to mind right now. I am glad he didn't hit her tho...but she needs to let him go cool off. She's made this mess....now she had to deal with the consequences of it....Poor Nick..I really have conflicting emotions on how I want this to end...
Great chapter tho!! Wracked with emotions I tell ya!!! Can't wait to see what's in store in the next chapter!!

I'm glad he didn't hit her, I don't think they could have recovered from something like that, I think he would have been too guilt ridden to work through it, you will see how he feels in the next chpater. I think she needed to see it though, she needed to see how frustrated she had made him.

Wow...first of all let me say that I am proud of Nick. He really showed in this chapter maturity and he also stood up for himself. It would serve Adie right if he walked away from her and found someone else. She has been selfish throughout the whole relationship and everything has to be on her terms. I am glad that Nick didn't just fall back into a relationship with her but stood up to her.
Adie is once again playing the victim role that she is so good at. I am glad that Nick isn't falling prey to it anymore.
As for the end I understand completley Nick losing his temper....He wanted to leave and he is exhausted and sometimes we do things that we aren't proud of when we are overwraught.
It dosent' need to be said but I loved this chapter. I love your writing you really make the characters come to life and make them human.
I can't wait for an update!

It would have been so easy for him to just fall back into old habits and for the first third of the chpater he did just that. I think the realisation hit him hard and that was when he knew he needed to open up, he needed to make her see because he was only going to end up resenting her even more if he let it drag on. It was definetly the wake up call that she needed!
I think Nick loosing his temper is going to truly shock not only her but him as well. It is going to make them both realise what a mess they both are and I think they are going to have contrasting solutions to it, one is going to want to fight while the other is going to want to give up (No guesses who!)

wow.... i could feel Nicks pain as I read this chapter (with tears in my eyes)... all that emotion was going to come out sometime... I am glad he is finally releasing it and I am gald Adie is finally fighting for them... I think Nick is doing the right thing... it think is time Adie does the fighting.
