Seriously though Amy... Your writing is blowing my away with how far you've come. It just keeps getting better.This is such a complicated situation. I want them to be back together, but I'm not sure how Nick will react to the baby, especially after accusing her of not taking her birth control. That kind of looks bad. I just hope that they can have a happy ending!

I know it sounds a bit similar to someone else's story! LOL! I swear I have had this all planned out before I read LTOS! There is soooooooooooooooooooo much more to come with this story and FYI the baby is safe for now! I think a lot of people are going to be pleastenly surprised by Nick though, there is definetly going to be some growth from him but that does not mean Adie is going to welcome him back with open arms, you know the saying too little to late?!
Thanks for the huge compliment about my writing, I can see a marked improvement as well and I think it is because I do have to really think about where I am taking my stories and my characters. I still have a long way to go to catch up with you though, so hurry up and update, I need a Nick and Alyssa fix!!!!!

I think the blips into the past are important and they are going to play a big part in the latter part of the story. I think it also gives you a glimpse of what they were like pre all these complications. As for Nick showing up at the hospital...they guy needed his stiches out...is it really his fault she just happened to working on that same day?! ;) Well maybe! LOL! And anyway there may not be a baby to tell him about now!

I really hoped that this was the chapter that she told him but oops nope she might not be preggo now. In a way it might be good that she isn't pregnant anymore but then its sad because it is a baby. I'm torn as to which way this will really go.
I like how you wrote this chapter, especially the scene between the two of them and how he barely kissed her that was really sweet and it goes to show you that you can really effect someone with a simple touch.
I hope you've never had that kind of trouble at work. I also can't wait for the next chapter.

Sorry but cliff hangers = suspense = you guys coming back for more! LOL! I was actually going to let this be the chapter but I decided to split it because I didn't want you guys to know whether the loses the baby or not right away. It adds to the drama! Also it would have been a long ass chappie!
As to the kiss, I think he wanted to show her he still loved her, we all know he has a difficult time in verbalising stuff and I think in this instance actions said a whole lot more then his words could have. It wasn't very passionate, it wasn't lust felt, it was a small peck but sometimes I think it is those sorts of kisses that mean more! Just damn bad timing with the guy that came in. As for your question about having to deal with that at work I have to say yes I have had to restrain many people but fourtunetly I have never been grabbed at, spat at yes, but not grabbed at!

You're right it wasn't very long and you left us on another clif hanger!!
I like how she finally told someone that she's pregnant and that its Nick's or as you wrote "the guy I walked away from" that was a good touch,lol. I can't wait to see how Nick takes the news; I also hope she tells him first though and not her sister.
I can't wait for the next update to see how everything happens.Hopefully the next chapter will be a long one!

I love writing cliff hangers! I just think it keeps you guys interested and reading and if I gave it all away after building all that suspense you guys would be bored! LOL! I think she definetly needed to get the whole baby issue of her chest and at least she has told someone who she can trust but I think Chelle is also someone who isn't going to let her get away with not telling Nick for long!

OK...I have to say that it is so freaking sad that Nick is getting so close to opening up and right now, when he is FINALLY ready, which is what Adie has wanted all along...there is the BABY BOMB! I hope it doesn't close him off more and halt all of his progress. I am really interested to see how he reacts to the news, Adie is obviously not taking it well. And, how the heck did she get to be 5 months pregnant and not know, she is a nurse, shouldn't the lack of periods and other tell-tale signs send up some red flags? She is also to the point where she is starting to show at 5 months, or very close to it. There is no time for either of them to really adjust to the idea before it is in their face.

I know i can't believe that i have gotten tow updates out in such quick succession! It's amazing or it may be due to the bloody cold and dismal weather we are currently having in England BRRR it is freezing!
It's the whole irony is such a bitch thing going on with this story. He is ready to open up to her although it will be a very slow process but there is going to be now way that he will be expecting her to be pregnant and lets just say the way in which he finds out won't be the best either! It is going to be a huge shock to the system but I don't think he is going to react the way in which people think, he might surprise you!
As with Adie, I think she had suspeted all along but she was having major denial issues. If you go back a few chapters there is an explanation for all of her sysmptoms, ie her getting stressed and that caused her periods to stop as it has happened to her in the past. I think she choose to ignore it because it shows how badly her idealic plans for her life have gone off track.
