 6.16.03 Hey y'all! Name's Alex, and obviously you are interested in reading my stories since you surfed to my profile! Nick: How do you surf to a profile? Ignore him, y'all. He tends to show up every now and then. Usually at the worst times possible... Nick: What's that supposed to mean, huh? Forget it, Nick. You just wouldn't understand. Brian: We've been trying to tell him that for years! 'Rok! Hey! Brian: Hey! Hey! Brian: Hey! Hey! Brian: Hey! Brian and I: Heeeeey! Heh... Anyway, sometimes the whole group shows up... Nick: You still haven't answered my question. And then all chaos breaks loose! Nick: I'm serious! I want to know how you surf to a profile! Which ends up with four out of five of them getting hurt. Nick: Do you get a little animated surf board to surf over to a profile? Of course, I stand off to the side and just watch. Can't afford any lawsuits...know what I mean? Nick: And can the surf board say Nick on it? Or Frack? Or even Kaos? Duuuuude... Nick usually ends up being squished on the bottom of the dog pile. Nick: With my own personal autograph on it- AJ: What's blondie going on about now? He wants to know how you surf to a profile. AJ: *raises eyebrows* Yeah, that's how I reacted. Anyway... thanks for surfing over to my profile- Nick: HOW DO YOU SURF TO A PROFILE?! I only have a few stories of mine posted so far, but trust me, I will be posting more in the near future! Nick: How near is the future? And why do you say the future is near if you don't specify how far in the future you are talking about? AJ: *blank look* What...did he just say? Geez, Nick! Why ya gotta be interruptin' me like this all the time? Nick: *grins* Because you didn't answer my question yet. *sighs* What question would that be? Brian: Here we go again... Nick: How do you surf to a profile? Man, I'm outta here. I gotta go find Kev and have him take care of this. Every time, peeps! I swear this happens every time! While I'm gone, do me a favor and read/review my stories? Aight? Maybe if you do, Nick will learn to stop asking such stupid questions! Nick: HEY! *grins* See ya! |

Hey, feedback can be hard to come by. Don't let that get to ya. Some readers can be too lazy to review, but it doesn't mean that they haven't read your story. Your story idea is interesting, it caught my attention, so I'm hoping that you will update this again as I would like to see it develope more and find out where it goes. As a suggestion, try putting a little more detail into each chapter. I'm not saying that your chapters have to be really long to be interesting, but of my opinion, there isn't enough detail so that it developes the story enough. I think your story would be much better if you tried to write it with more detail. You've got a good story line going, but detail needs to be worked on. Anyway, like I said, I hope you decide to update this again. I'll be waiting. [Alex]

That was sweet, Nick and Alyssa having a conversation. Communication is good and maybe this will open up a line between them. I wonder if things will maybe begin to mend between them later on in the story? Great work, keep it up! I'll be waiting for an update! [Alex]
I have to say cute chapter. Tyler seems to be an adorable little boy and hopefully he will make many more appearances through out the story. This was a sweet chapter; I enjoyed it. Keep up the great work and I'll be waiting for another update!

Finally, another update! I have been waiting, ya know! This was a very sweet little chapter. Taking a little vacation to Disney World as a family could really act as a healing tool for Nick. Well, that's rude...Nick leading Alyssa on and everything. The boy needs a freakin' wake up call...hopefully this will be one for him. I feel horrible for Tyler though, waking up and not finding his mommy, especially when he's used to being there in the morning. Well Nick, get off your ass and start being a father to the boy. He needs his Daddy too! Anyway, sorry I haven't been reading and reviewing lately. But ya know I love this story and here I am, back again and reading/reviewing it. School just started back so sittng down and pouring my thoughts out have actually been a little difficult. But Nick is definately going to have 'fun' with Tyler. Remember he doesn't know anything about raising a kid, well sorta. But I have a few ideas lined up for him. :D
*stands up and claps, giving props to Alyssa* You go girl! Bravo! Serves Nick right to finally have to start living up to the responsibility of being a parent! It's not easy either! Not that I have kids yet, but I did work in a day care for quite some time and I've been around kids most of my life, so I know what it's like taking care of them! Ha ha...what a mess Tyler made and I could just picture that happening. A total nightmare for Nick, but he deserves it! It's his turn to go through what Alyssa has had to go through. Tyler is a very cute kid. I love how he talks, then again I love how any little kid talks. *shakes head* I'll stop now as I'm sure there will be more good laughs in future chapters for mishaps with Nick and Tyler. More props to the kid for giving his daddy a hard time! Author's Response: Oh, congratulations are instore for your brother. Like you I worked in a daycare, well not worked, but volunteered. But I was offered a job there when I turn 18, which will be in about two months. So, I'm looking forward to working with those kids. I worked with two year olds, so I know some of their mischevious antics. I'm actually going to try and write another chapter or two now, since i've gotten so many kind-hearted and wonderful reveiws. I never thought that my story would have this much of an impact and I'm glad it did!

September 11th is a date that no one will forget. Especially those who lost loved ones in the tragedy. Sarah Dorough died in the North Tower when the World Trade Center was attacked. Her youngest brother Howie became full guardian of her daughter Melicia. Still in shock with the news of his sister's death, he takes Melicia in and makes the teenager a part of the Backstreet Family. Will he be able to heal the pain with his niece or have to do it alone? Man, Twinny. Emotional chap I have to say. To be honest, I nearly started crying when Howie said, "Te amo, mi hermana. Te amo." Don't know what it was about that, but it made me want to start bawling. Then again, I've always been a really emotional person. I'm feeling for Melicia. Wow, Melicia really needs a bit of an attitude adjustment (not that I'm saying I don't blame her for how she's acting because she did lose her mom. I don't except her to be all cheery and jumping for joy). Brian's attitude towards her was a little harsh though. I think his words did not come out right, but then again that is just my opinion and I'm not the author of this story. LoL. Ignore me. Heh. Anyway, nice little update.
