Hi, I'm Julie. I'm an elementary school teacher from Illinois. I started reading BSB fanfic over the summer of 1999, when I was 14, and I've been writing it for almost as long. My favorite kind of stories to write are drama/angst with a hint of romance, and most of my stories are about Nick or Brian.

LOL When Officer Rick showed up, I was going, "Okay, this seems too early for them to just be rescued that easily... I wonder if he's really with the bad guys." Especially when he took them back up to the lodge instead of down. Doh!

And LOL, that's so like AJ to just get married without telling anyone and be sooo sure that they'll be together forever.

I loved the chapter; thanks for updating! Can't wait for more!

Phew! I'm glad Brian's okay, and YAY for the SWAT team! Seems like it's nearing the end... OR IS IT?! I can never tell with this type of story LOL. Love it though!

Author's Response: Haha, I really don't have the heart to kill any of my love boys in my stories... yet. LOL. Perhaps I could get some counseling from Kelly, but that would probably lead me to kill Kevin in my stories, lmao. As for if it's nearing the end, well... we still got some ways to go. ;)

Awww... :`( Way to almost make me cry first thing in the morning - I was not expecting that! LOL I was excited when I saw you had posted your story, but then I thought it was an old story since I saw it came from your site, so I was reading it to find out which one. If it's old, though, I'm not sure I've read it before... if so, I must have forgotten about it. But anyway, it felt new to me, and I loved it! You write a tearjerker better than anyone; you know just how to write it to make it not just sad, but truly heartwrenching. You have a gift!

Sorry to have made you almost cry  ;)  I was checking out my website since I haven't been there in ages and I saw that story and it seemed new to me too so I thought I might as well post it here. Glad you loved it, it was originally written ages ago back when I whipped out a story in an hour when I could focus lol. Thanks for the complement writing tearjerkers and having a gift. I just started reading this story tonight, and I am LOVING it so far! I am pretty picky about romance, and this kind of premise doesn't usually attract my attention, but I'd heard such rave reviews about this story that I had to give it a try and see what it was all about. I am hooked!! Your writing is excellent, which is what it's all about. You do a great job writing in first person, which isn't easy! The narrative is funny and draws you right in. Olivia as a main character is very real and relatable - I love that! I enjoy reading about her even when the Boys aren't in the scene, and I like that she's married - that's gonna present some great drama later on, I can tell! It's been a LONG time since I've sat and read this many consecutive chapters of a new fanfic in one sitting purely for enjoyment, and I've missed that! Thanks for writing a story worth reading! I'll leave more reviews as I get further into it and catch up, but just wanted to let you know I'm loving it! :)

Author's Response: Thanks for such a great review! I LOVE writing in first person, for Olivia's voice is probably the easiest one I've been able to really define in a long time. Of course, I think the chapters that shine are the ones that include the Boys - I like many others think fanfics shouldn't stray too far away from the main purpose - to be ABOUT the Boys. I look foward to future comments as you get farther along in the story. :)

Awww, Howie... ya know, I love the relationship Nick and Howie have; it's underutilized in fanfic. You did a great job with the scene where he finally tells him! And I love that Nick has Macarena as Howie's ringtone... and the petting zoo thing, hehe. Glad you got the muse going on this one after all! :)

Author's Response: It is underutilized, and I get why. I mean I prefer either the Brian/Nick or the Nick/Kevin. But I'm trying so hard to really showcase Nick with all of them. Thank you! I was having such a block with it lol. It was either gonna be Macarena or Livin La Vida Loca lmao, but I thought Macarena would be funnier. OMG, this wins for my new favorite chapter!!! I just said that for the last one too. But that one didn't bring actual tears to my eyes, nor did it contain a South Park reference that made me almost fall out of my chair laughing. You are SO DRATW!!! I still have tears in my eyes from crying over Kevin crying... and then laughing hysterically about South Park and Nick wanting to be a dolphin. "If I could swiiiim with the dolphins..." I LOVE the Kick love and them reminiscing on when they first met, when Nicky was so young. This just breaks my heart, but angst-lover that I am, I freaking love it!! Keep the epic chapters coming! WIN!!!
