Hi, I'm Julie. I'm an elementary school teacher from Illinois. I started reading BSB fanfic over the summer of 1999, when I was 14, and I've been writing it for almost as long. My favorite kind of stories to write are drama/angst with a hint of romance, and most of my stories are about Nick or Brian. I've told you already, but I'll say it again: I love this chapter, from the poignant scene between Kevin and Nick, to the comic relief with Howie and Brian. Finally catching up; sorry for sucking so much this week! I'm behind on everyone's stories! Anyway, I loved this chapter, glad AJ finally came around! "Forget Me Not" reminds me of Linkin Park's "Leave Out All the Rest." Great song! Great chapter! DRATW! :)

I love these Kevin and Nick moments! I'm not much of a Kevin girl, but I do love the relationship he has with the other guys, especially Nick and AJ. I'm glad Nick told him first, and I love these emails between the two of them. :)

Wow, that was a really good and heart-wrenching question; who thought of that one? It's perfect! ;) LOL I love this chapter; I love the angry words between Nick and Howie, Jen, Brian... everyone he's been pissing off LOL. Can't blame any of them for being annoyed at his flakiness, but I also can't wait to get their reactions when they finally found out what's been causing him to act this way. You know I LOVE this story, girl; it is Double Rainbow ALL THE WAY!!!

This chapter is pretty epic, between Nick having to say grace at the Littrell family Christmas, to the ENDING, OMG!!! DOUBLE RAINBOW ALL THE WAY!!!

I loved this chapter! Crazy Carter clan... parts with them are always sort of entertaining, but mostly just sad. This chapter made me sad for Nick. :( I hope he tells AJ and Howie soon so he can get the support he needs from his true family. Keep up the great work; this story is so intense, so bright, so vivid, so ))) ))) ATW!

Aww, I loved this chapter! As funny as Nick making Brian bungee jump was, my favorite was the last scene with Baylee, when Nick was flashing back to the similar moment with Brian. Very sweet! I wonder if he's going to confuse Baylee with Brian later on... my great-grandma who had Alzheimer's did that a lot. You have been a productive penguin with this story lately; keep it up, DR! :)
Author's Response: Awww thanks TR! :) You know, originally that scene didn't exist in my mind lol, but once I thought of it, I thought it'd be a nice way to flash back and wrap up after his bonding with Brian. As for confusing the two... it's a thought :). Productive Penguin? I like it! LMAO. I'm the productive penguin, you can be the fruitful ferret! :)
OMG Rose!!! This chapter was SO triple rainbow all the way!!! I love the way it started out so light and funny and then got SO dark and angsty! I was laughing my ass off at the beginning, especially with Brian's "balding green head" and god-knows-what was going on in AJ's room (LMFAO!!!!). But it was so sad when Nick forgot all that instantly, and then the last scene was just... wow... intense!! Poor Nick. :( It's totally understandable, how he's feeling... I think anyone would consider just ending it all on their terms, while they were still with it enough to do so. Obviously glad he didn't, though! And YAY, Kevin to the rescue!!! I freaking love it!!! This was probably my favorite chapter yet! More soon! :)

I feel so bad for what I'm putting Nick through, but it's also fun LOL. I think it's understandable too, cause he's only got two options. And I can see why ending it now would be incredibly tempting. Finally catching up; sorry for being so lame this week! I loved the last two chapters! So sad, Nick coming to terms with the fact that he can't tour anymore, that everything is happening too quickly. I loved the way this chapter started, with him telling Angel. I like how you've written their relationship in this story. And the fan encounter was super cute too; it's nice that she showed Nick the impact he's had on people. Keep the updates coming, DR!!!
Author's Response: Awww it's okay, I'm glad you're feeling better! (I hope). It is sad, but Nick's denial is finally ending. There's just no room for it anymore. I'm glad everyone seems to love the Nick/Angel relationship, I knew there had to be one sane Carter (other than Nick) in there, and she just seemed to be the most realistic choice. Thanks...I will as long as you don't have to Reach For a Book! LOL
Aww... this definitely seems like a turning point in the story. It was sad already, but sounds like it's gonna be downhill from here. Sick as it sounds, I'm looking forward to more... you know I love me some angst! Love this story! :)

Aww, I loved this chapter! It was so heartbreaking, yet had plenty of humor, too - especially loved the digs at Drums, Paris, and Carson LOL. It was so sad to see Nick suddenly forget where he was and why, or the lyrics to his song, yet be totally aware that he was forgetting, too... that's gotta be the hardest part. I loved how Brian was there to help him out so subtly. Gotta love Frick. I love the album cover, too, especially the back - gorgeous! DRATW, DR!!!
Author's Response: Awwww thanks DR! I can't help myself, when I get a chance, I totally toss in digs at the douchebags I can't stand lmao. I think that's gotta be the hardest part of the stage he's right now. He's aware he's forgetting. Sad and tragic as it is, once he's no longer aware, it might be easier for Nick. (Just harder for everyone else). I love that Brian's there for him, it's my fave part of this story I think their relationship (and of course Nick/Kevin lol). Thanks about the covers, I feel like they sum up Nick pretty well hehe. :)
Just wanted to say again that I loved this chapter! The Frick/Frack part at the beginning was adorable (but bittersweet), and I loved Nick and Aaron going to blows at the end. The drama just makes everything more interesting. Keep the awesome updates coming, DR!
