Ahhh...dunno. I put myself in this situation and think what I would do. I don't think realistically many people would stay in that mess. Most peeps who have been crapped on as much as Nick has wouldn't stay. I mean, come ON now. I'd give them all a huge rousing FUCK YOU and skip off into the sunset!

And Yay! for Nick not going down the usual path of destruction. They both seem to be slowly growing...in the right direction for once. But, as with all dramas, I'm sure this story still has a few potholes to drive around yet. Looking forward to it!

Shocking I know...but our girl is finally making an effort here and being a big girl!  I'm surprised that everyone is saying "yay" for Nick...he technically still "cheated" on Quinn, and has been actively trying to be with another woman, as recently as the evening before she showed up in her hotel.  Will her being there stop him?  Most likely...however, if this is how he deals with things, what is going to happen the next time something doesn't go his way?  Something to consider :o)

Awww, that was a sweet letter she wrote to Nick. I knew Rachel wasn't going to be so forgiving...I'm a lot like her, when I'm pissed at someone, I make them WORK for their redemption! ;o) Drama is pretty much a given for the next chapter if Jane is involved. For a split second I thought "maybe she's gonna incorporate Nick's heart problem into the story line"...then I thought, nah, Jane is coming up, that's enough. LMAO

True, there is no such thing as a perfect person, and Adie needs to understand that this applies to her too. She seems to hold everyone else to impossible standards while totally ignoring her own personality flaws. I've never liked people like that, and Adie is no exception! Instead of giving Nick the chance to prove his words worthy, she let's it all go because she can't accept what she perceives as a "perfect" life path may not be perfect at all. Funny how she can see Nick's faults so clearly, but when hers are pointed out to her, she runs away. Hypocrite! She's worked on my last nerve.

You have hit the nail straight on the head! She is so focused on his flaws and his problems that she is failing to recognise her own, she doesn't see that she puts herself in these types of situations from the decisions she has made in the past. Mark cheated on her and so she promised herself she would never let anybody do that to her again and yet she took Nick back in a heartbeat when he did it to her. It's almost as if she likes the drama of these impossible situations, she likes the arguments and can't believe that people can change which is quite funny considering the line of work that she is in.

You will start to see a different side of her soon though, I promise and you may actually start to like her! (GASP!) Thanks for teh review!

Hmmm...I hardly think Nick is to blame for the way Adie is feeling at this time. He hid his feelings from her about the whole thing out of concern he'd hurt her even more than she is already. He actually is taking her feelings into consideration. Can't say that Adie is doing the same for Nick. He lost a child too, yet that doesn't seem to be a big concern to Adie. The pattern of withdrawing into herself is going to bite her back in the butt BIG time. I feel that Nick is bending over backwards & trying to get her to come to terms with this whole situation and all she can do is find fault with the way he's handling things? Uhh uhh, Adie, that ain't right. By the time she figures out what she's done, Nick will be nuthin but a shell of himself. Who's she gonna blame then? ;o)

Can I just say I love Rachel? When she was giving Adie "what for" at the hospital was pure entertainment for me. It's about time Adie realize that Nick, however patient & understanding he's been, DOES have his limits....and she best shit or get off the pot where he's concerned. Can I be bad and say I wouldn't be upset if he isn't exactly all warm & fuzzy with Adie if she does catch him on the way to Vegas? A little part of me wants to see her get a little scared that Nick just might be done with all of it. Of course, in the end I don't think that will happen, but in my lil' opinion, I think Adie deserves to get the pee scared out of her. LMAO.

I also was a little put off by Adie's Dad making it about her, when it should have been nuthin BUT about him & his health and state of being. But we should be used to that when it comes to Adie, it always ends up being about her. ;o)
