I like the premise for this story, it'll be interesting to see how it progresses :)  You're great at first person narration, and I like the difference in POVs, hope you keep the variety in the coming chapters :)



Author's Response: I'm keeping the variety in the coming chapters. I realized that it's SO much easier to get to my average word count this way. I've done third person stories before (none published here), but I love first person so much more. I don't like to be omniscient. :)

I'm intrigued to see where this will go. It was a nice introduction to the two characters, and they're about to see each other at their worst, but somehow I can see a strong bond between them already. And I'm rambling so I'm going to stop. But great chapters :)

Author's Response: You're right - they are about to see each other at their worst. That in itself can bring two people together. haha, I enjoy rambling btw. :)

Author's Response: Mine too! I would have gotten right back on the bus or called someone to pick me up. For one there's the whole R. Simmons thing and secondly there's all these people that I wouldn't know. Bad combination :/

I can't even... Shay is strong for sticking up for herself when the situation she's in is so embarrassing - I don't think I'd have the guts to do speak up even if I was miserable.  I think she's one of the more stronger characters we've seen from you (though you're characters aren't normally weak, she's just very defensive - then again maybe it's just her defense mechanism - she seems to try and justify everything she does.) :) 



Author's Response: I agree with you...Shay's already coming through as a strong character. She's the reverse of Livvy who came in pretty weak (at least I think so!) I know if I was in her position I would have just walked off...
