Ok... to start I have to say that I have really enjoyed reading this story. But with that I can to be honest and say that the last few chapters I have not enjoyed... I use to love this story because it make me laugh and cry at the same time. I thought the development and interaction between Nick and Al was amazing. And even when AJ was flirting it still seem real but like I said if I am honest that has changed in the last few chatpers. I feel like the story has lost the REAL connection which is what I loved. I still think you both are amazing writers and I will continue to read the story but feel that the direction the story has take seems too much like fiction.

 



Author's Response: If you feel that you can be honest with us. Then I feel that we can be honest with you. I don\'t understand what you mean about losing a real connection in the story, much less how a fictional story seems too much like fiction. Nick and Alana, as well as Natalie and Brian, are going through the trials and triubulations of normal relationship. Natalie is vulnerable from her break-up with Brian and is looking to find any source of comfort. Having been turned away once again from the only man she\'s ever loved, she\'s hoping to find some sort of satisfaction in knowing that she can get a man that is seemingly untangible (i.e. Nick). Yes, it is her best friend\'s lover, but it\'s the only man that she is comfortable with. And, it might just upset Brian to know that Nick is attracted to his former lover. And Nick falling for the advances... Well, I guess it would be too easy to say he\'s male and let it be at that. The fact is, he\'s never been strong-willed in the story. He loves Alana dearly, but he did have history with Natalie. And, being apart for weeks is straining, especially when you\'re the sole provider for a young infant. Everyone has a weakness. Is it wholesome? No. But, why make a character flawless? It seems to me that a character who is flawless is too fictional. Or, perhaps, if you\'re speaking to Alana\'s new career choice. She was fortunate enough to have friends in the music business to give her a leg up because of natural talents. I don\'t know what else has happened in the past chapters to disappoint you, but that was just an attempt to solve the upset. We do hope that you continue to read the story, but we can\'t be expected to change the story to fit someone\'s beliefs about branching out of \"seeming too much like fiction.\" Because it is fiction. And, personally, I write these stories with mysoulunfolding because I like to step away from reality and spend time with my best friend in the entire world. I write for her and only her. I hope you understand.

Wow... great story so far. It is almost to hard to read... I lost my uncle last October in a car crash and he had 2 little girls (4 and 2)... it reminds me of that time... how hard it was seeing my aunt and the girls.

I think the story is really great and very well written .... can't wait to read more

I love your story. I cannot wait to read more. Your writing is amazing.

 

OK so my thoughts on what might/should happen. With Nick changing his life he should not Cheat... so the new wife will have to cheat on him which then makes him leave the marriage (but he is very upset about his breaking up) ... Ali will get pregnant by Sean who will be deployed before he finds out. He will  die in war. Since Ali is alone in NC she will move to where Izzy (so Izzy can help her) which is where Nick is (being consoled by Izzy)... that places them together with Ali needing someone...

 

That is just my guess.... lets see how close I am when the story plays out.
