Nick makes some wrong choices and now he's paying for it with his life. Just FYI? There are several places in this chapter where the dialogue starts over again. Once in the beginning and once later in the chapter. Nice job on it, though! I like how the story is progressing.

Damn, you're good. Props on covering the nervousness before surgery. Been there, done that. That's exactly how it feels. I've never had a limb amputated, but I've gone through surgery for something else. Granted I was already pretty out of it by that time, but I still felt about the same way. Keep 'em coming. This is incredible.

What you said about the nervousness before surgery means so much to me, cause I actually haven\'t been there firsthand, so I don\'t really know and was just trying to put myself in that place. I know I would be terrified though, no matter what kind of surgery it was. My dad was in a car accident a few years ago and had to have knee surgery (he\'s fine now, btw), and I remember standing back in the holding area with him, waiting for them to take him back, and that\'s exactly how I felt... terrified, even though I wasn\'t the one going into surgery, and it was just on his knee. But it\'s great to hear that from someone who\'s been through it, so thanks!!

Oh, come ON! You can't leave it like that! There's gotta be at least another few chapters to the story, unless you're writing a sequel. This is NOT the way to end the whole thing. You're leaving everyone with a cliffhanger. Not cool. C'mon, put up some more chapters.

You'd think after saving everyone from a Terrorist Mob that people would at least PRETEND to think Nick is capable of taking care of himself. But, in the words of Rodney Dangerfield --- he gets no respect [insert tie adjusting here]. So when Agent Bryant calls for help, can they just let him go get the job done? Oh no, no, perish the thought! Nick ends up dragging along AJ of all people to solve the case, searching for a mysterious masked serial killer who is wrecking havoc all over the world. Can Nick stop the murderer before it's too late? And most importantly, will the other fellas EVER think he's anything but a dumb blonde kid?
