Hawk and a Handsaw... finished?
« on: May 10, 2010, 06:01:18 PM »

Oh yeah. That's right. Finished.

I'm sure no one noticed but I took everything down in the fall (long story) and I told myself the only way it was going back up was if it was finished.

I didn't think about it at all until yesterday afternoon when I suddenly decided it was time. I wrote until 3:00am this morning, did some finishing touches when I got home from work this evening and it's done.

I can't say it's exactly how I wanted it to end, but I'm happy with it. I hope all of you are too. :)

woot woot woot!!! Yay Julilly!!!!  I'm so excited! Now I just have to get the tie to read it again. It's been so long I doubt I could remember where I left off. But this story is so fun I won't mind starting over from the beginning.

And don't feel too bad Mare, you're not the only one not finishing anything right now.

Yay again Julilly!!!

Congrats!  This story has been on my list of things to read (which is pretty short these days)!  All the more reason to read now!

Congrats, Julilly!  I bet it feels awesome to have it finished.  I haven't had a chance to check out the ending yet, but I'll post a review when I do.

It really does feel awesome to be finished, I cant even tell you how great it is. (Though Im sure you know)

I have been really worried about the reception to the ending but so far from what few reviews Ive gotten it seems as though it isnt too bad. Phew!

(PS: I apologize for my lack of apostrophe useage... my computer is stuck in french again so I just get è é à instead of punctuation.)

Well done on finishing.  I've just started reading it today and am really enjoying it so far.

You aren't the only one who feels bad for not finishing though.  I have a few I've not even looked at for a whole year!

I think I probably wrote the most within the first year, then it died lol

I always thought about it though!

Awesome!  I was wondering where your story went, and only today did I think to check the update thread :D  I'm definitely going to read this as soon as I get a few hours to dedicate some time to it.  Can't wait, I'm sure the ending will be brilliant.
