This is Howie Do it! Feb challenge
« on: February 02, 2012, 04:56:20 PM »
For all the Howie "ladies" out there. Here is a challenge for our poor, neglected, seldom highlighted Howard.

This is Howie do it! ;)

~ write a short story with Howie as the main character
~ has to be told through someone else's POV (Howie is the main character but he can't tell the story)
~ can be any genre except romance (too easy and too Howie)
~ no longer than 2500 words
~ no banners

Have fun and I hope to see a lot of stories! Howie is counting on you!

:)

I need to do this... I neglect Howie too much.. lol. He's usually only in my group stories, he had his own storyline in one of them but the other 3 had their own storylines too. LOL.  Now to think of a Howie short story not told by Howie and not romance. LOL

I know, we all neglect Howie. I did write a story with him as the lead (The Lions Den) and have written a few Howie shorts but admittedly that was the hardest story I have ever written lol

so I have a decent intro for a story ... 350 words so far and not a mention of Howie yet and BLAH not sure what exactly is gonna be able to happen in the words I have left.  This beginning might turn into a romance for *gulps* Nick... *sigh* I'm sorry Howie.   :'(

Poor neglected Howie, I'll have to have a go at this even though I haven't finished last month's story yet.

A message from Howie:

I am sad to see that no one has tried this challenge yet. I know if this was a Nick challenge there would be at least ten responses by now. That one girl who always comes in and says this sounds like a great challenge too bad I never write them, didn't even bother coming in here! What is up with that?

I think i'm cute, sexy and really funny. I could write a story about myself with no problem, I don't know why i'm not getting any love. :(

Please don't make me beg again!

Write a story about me!!! ;) And don't kill me either! I know how some of your minds work!

Howie,
Talk to the girl who made the rules. Having you be the main character but not from your POV is proving difficult for me!

I'm afraid I haven't been able to write since I saw Nick unfortunately. Sorry Howie :( I usually don't have a problem writing you though!

Howie... :(

C'mon Howie, you can't make mentions like that without naming names! :P
