I loved that part on the bridge when he proposed! I thought that was a really good callback and super sweet. I'm such a sucker for stuff like that, haha.

Okay so just based on what you guys are saying, I have a question for Tri.

Did you always know you were going to do the proposal scene the way it turned out or did you change your mind at all?

Have you written a sequel to this story or is it already a sequel if a series? Would you consider making a sequel & if you could make a spin off using one of your characters who would it be?

I haven't written a sequel to it, nor have I really considered adding a sequel into the mix (even though I got a few suggestions to continue with Nick and Lisa's married life lol).  I got sort of stuck and attached to characters in my other series, so I didn't want to get into a rut where I always continued stories on and on...  If I could do an addition or spin off to the story, I think I'd do the type of thing where I explain more about the people around the main characters and how their lives are going.  Since I focused so much on Nick and Lisa over time, I left out a lot about their friends and families that could have made the story fuller or even the characters more rounded out (to see how they interact with people other than each other).

Who would you pick to play your female lead?

Hmm, that's a tough one!  I think right away, Rachel McAdams comes to mind.  I think she's an actress that can showcase a lot of emotion and personality, so I think she'd do a great job playing Lisa.

What was your favorite scene or line from the story?

I think my favorite part was when they finally got together...  After all of the lead-up and background on them growing up together, growing apart, and growing together, it was nice for them to finally realize that all of the crap they went through brought them to a place where they realized they wanted to be together.  It was mostly Nick calling the shots, of course, haha, but it was definitely a "FINALLY!" moment, like a lot of you have said.  It was also a point in the story where I was thinking, "Okay, now we can get to the really good stuff!"  :)

I loved the part with that bridge and how Nick proposed. The whole story I was waiting for him to go to niagara falls and do it, but the way he proposed was very sweet :)

Niagara Falls, hmm?  I hadn't really thought about that!  I think I always take the Falls for granted lol.  I'm glad you enjoyed the proposal, though!  I feel like I really struggle with really romantic moments, so I'm glad you thought it was sweet!  :)

I totally agree with you there - "ABOUT time!".  I was going crazy as I was posting the chapters, getting almost giddy as I knew we were closer and closer to them hooking up.  lol.  :)

Actually, I originally planned on having Nick and Lisa get married in Vegas when he suggested it.  Then I was going to still have the whole mess happen where she writes a piece that accidentally gets published and the fight was going to be more about Nick thinking, "Oh, now that you've got me, you can just use me however you want" type of thing...  Instead, I had the whole breakup happen and it went from there...  But, yeah, I wasn't planning on Nick being so against the idea of marriage like he was.  Then the detail about Nick missing prom and making it up to Lisa by spray painting a message on a bridge came out and it sprung up from there.  I'm pretty sure it stemmed from the fact that I was doing a lot of commuting to and from grad school at the time and I started getting ideas from the scenery LOL.

The reason I mention niagara falls is that I think the two of them said if neither of them got married by 30 they'd do it. I seem to remember that from the story :)

You're right.  I forgot about that!  And yeah, I put that in because there's always so many couples at the Falls taking pictures together.  lol.  I think Lisa commented on everyone there being in love, so Nick said if they were 35 and single, they'd go there and get a quickie wedding and honeymoon at the casino or something?  But after they were actually together, Nick made sure Lisa knew it was a big joke.  (Nice guy, right?  lol)  It's funny because I never thought about Nick surprising her with a trip there and a wedding, but that would've been cute, too!  :)
