Chapter 19
Chelsea sat quietly in her seat as the airplane made its way to Nevada. She looked out the window and watched as the white clouds floated by. She was deep in thought about what she was about to do. " What am I doing" She questioned herself. Chelsea was confused as hell on what she really wanted. Chelsea looked over at Ryan who was sleeping peacefully. Chelsea smiled a little. She did love Ryan that wasn't the problem at all. The problem was she wasn't in love with him anymore.
" So what am I doing marrying him right this minute"? She asked herself. Of course she pretty much knew the answer to that. A picture of Kevin's face appeared in her mind. Just thinking of Kevin's handsome features gave her Goosebumps. Chelsea would have liked nothing more than to go back to New York and be with him but the memory of seeing Kevin earlier in bed with his ex wife was torture and made her heart break in two.
" What am I thinking Kevin is moving on back with wife we have no chance at all"" Besides he never thought of me in that way so why am I obsessing over this" " You are in love with him that’s why". Chelsea told herself miserably. " Kevin has made his decision on who he is in love with so I have too move on and the only way to do that is to marry Ryan". " This is the best thing" Chelsea assured herself as she took another peak at Ryan's sleeping form. " So why am I not excited".

AJ and Gina arrived at the mall and were amazed at the size. The New York City mall was an eight-story building that had hallways beyond hallways of stories on just a single floor.
" Wow look at this place" Gina said amazed.
The Florida mall was twice as small, which made it boring.
" Yeah you can say that again" AJ replied.
They were both in heaven. The two walked inside and weren't surprised to find how busy and crowded it was.
" Doesn't look like we are going to be leaving for a long while" AJ commented.
" Yeah we have a ton of stores to check out and not enough time in the day" Gina said.
" Well let's not stand here all day" AJ urged her. " Come on".
Gina followed AJ into the crowd and started exploring the mall. They came across Abricrombie and Fitch and immediately smiled and walked in. The store had two sides one for girls and one side for guys. AJ walked over to the girl's section with Gina and watched how she looked at things she liked and concentrated on the price and size. It reminded him of him. He loved to shop especially for clothes. God knows he owns five closet full. A blue sparkly bikini caught his eye at one of the racks. AJ went over and took a closer look at it. He couldn't help but think how good she would look in it. " Stop it AJ" AJ scolded himself.
He had a great girlfriend that he loved but he couldn't help but think that things weren't as good as they used to be. He had noticed lately that Rachel seemed preoccupied with something and never said much. Gina snapped AJ out of his train of thought.
" Hello AJ did you get any of that" She asked rather irritated.
" Oh sorry" AJ said sheepishly.
" I said that IM getting these" Gina started pointing to a pale blue top and dark blue jeans.
" I like those they are cute" AJ commented.
" And I also asked why your holding up that bathing suit" Gina said.
" I um thought it might look good on Rachel" AJ lied.
" Oh um ok I think its cute and that you should get it for her" Gina replied. " Are you going to get anything for yourself"?
" No IM not IM going to look at some other stores" AJ answered.
" Ok IM going to go pay for this stuff and than meet you outside of the store" Gina told him.
" Ok" AJ replied making his way out of the crowded store.
AJ sighed. " This was going to be a fun day trying to keep his mind on Gina as strictly a friend.

Rachel gripped the seat with a death grip as the plane hit some rough patches. The three were fortunate and got seats right next to each other. Kevin sat at the window seat with Rachel in the middle and Nick at the aisle seat.
" I hate flying" Rachel muttered through gritted teeth.
Kevin was in his own world not paying attention to a thing but Nick had been watching her the whole time.
" I know I hate flying too" Nick replied sympathetically.
" When I get my hands on Chelsea" Rachel started.
" Look Lets just relax we will be there shortly and stop Ryan and Chelsea from getting married and fix Kevin with Chelsea and live happily ever after but in the mean time squeeze my hand and relax" Nick instructed.
" I can think of other objects I rather squeeze" Rachel thought. " Those damn dirty thoughts".
Rachel took Nick's warm hand and laid her head back to relax. Rachel looked over at Kevin who was completely out of it.
" Don't worry Kevin we will get to her in time" Rachel told him softly.
Kevin slowly turned his head. " I hope so".

Chelsea twitched her hands nervously as she and Ryan waited their turn. Chelsea looked at her surroundings with disgust. Ryan had found a place as soon as they landed at Elvis's quickie wedding chapel. Chelsea had thought that just because the name was corny didn't mean it would be such a bad place. But she had been wrong. The place was a dump that made the guy wear an Elvis costume and the girl wear a tacky bride's dress that went over your clothes. The place looked cheesy to with the bright lights. Chelsea had always dreamed of a big wedding but this was a nightmare.
" This isn't so bad" Ryan commented.
" Maybe if you were Mrs. Kinnard" Chelsea muttered thinking back to her old high school English teacher that she didn't like.
" At least we are going to married," Ryan said trying to look on the bright side.
Before Chelsea could answer the minister called them. " Ryan and Chelsea you're up next".
" That's us you ready" Ryan asked giving her hand a quick squeeze.
" As ready a I'll ever be" Chelsea replied.
The couple walked up to the balding guy as he handed her a white dress, which she put over her clothes and Gave Ryan a black Elvis wig and a white dress coat. The Minister handed her a bouquet of wilted flowers.
" Ok now we are gathered her in the sight of god for holy matrimony if anyone here has any objections speak now or forever hold your peace". There was complete silence. The minister opened his mouth to say something when a familiar voice filled the room.
" I object".
Chelsea turned around to see Kevin at the door with Rachel and Nick behind him.

After a couple of hours of shopping AJ and Gina tiredly walked over to the food court that had every pizza and fast food restaurant imaginable. AJ carried two shopping bags one from structure and the other from old Navy. Gina had conned him into getting leather Jacket that he thought he looked like a fag in. AJ watched as Gina struggling with her five bags made her way over to him. Gina had seen tons and tons of clothes that she liked. After Abricrombie Gina had dragged him into Weathervane, Limited too, American eagle and Gadzooks and had tried on half the store in each. AJ found a booth and threw his bags in the corner than made his way over to help Gina with hers.
" Thanks for the help" Gina said out of breath.
" Sure no problem" AJ replied putting the bags in the last seat at their table. " Now what shall we get for lunch".
" Do you even have to ask" Gina replied with a smile.
AJ grinned. " McDonalds" They both said in unison.
Gina and AJ both made there way through the food court and ordered there usual than went back to the table and started eating.
" So what do you think is happening right now" AJ asked.
Gina swallowed a bite of her double cheeseburger. " About what".
" Do you think that Rachel, Kevin and Nick got to Chelsea in time" AJ replied.
" Oh I think that they did" Gina told him. " Because Rachel is a determined person and is always able to get what she needs done".
" Yeah I have always admired that about her" AJ agreed.
" So how are things with the two of you" Gina asked.
" Things are going good" AJ answered lacking the enthusiasm. " What about you and Howie".
Gina shrugged. " Nothing new".
AJ just nodded. Gina couldn't help but feel the attraction for AJ and hoped that he felt it too. They both finished their food in silence both having a lot on their minds.
" So what do you want to do now start back on shopping" AJ asked.
" No IM done shopping I say we go clubbing and you can show me a few of your grinding moves" Gina suggested.
" OK lets go" AJ replied quickly.

Chelsea was half-shocked and half relived to see Kevin and Rachel trying to stop her but she wasn't about to give them the benefit of a doubt that she didn't want this.
" What are you guys doing here?" Chelsea asked.
" We are here to stop you" Kevin replied.
" Well I can honestly say your wasting your time" Chelsea retorted.
Kevin sighed.
" Look there is something that we have to show you it's really important" Rachel urged.
" It can wait till after the ceremony" Chelsea told her.
" No I have to show you it now it will change your life trust me" Rachel pleaded.
Chelsea sighed. " Fine if I see it now than will you let me do this without anymore interruptions" Chelsea asked.
" Yes I will not stop you after you watch what's on this tape" Rachel agreed.
" OK lets see it" Chelsea sighed.
Rachel walked over to her and pressed the play button on the camera. Rachel dreaded showing her this knowing that it would hurt her but it just had to be done. Chelsea's eyes started to water and she angrily wiped her eyes and stared at Ryan who didn't look the least bit ashamed or sorry. After the tape was finished Chelsea walked back over to him and smacked him hard across the face.
" Ouch" Ryan moaned.
" I hate you Ryan IM not marrying you and now we certainly aren't together anymore" Chelsea yelled.
Chelsea threw her bouquet of wilted roses and the ring at him. " Its over I never ever want to see you again" Chelsea told him.
"Fine than I'll just go and get some from Mandy since she appreciates me" Ryan said.
Rachel walked up to him and slammed the baseball bat in the place that really counted. " You are a prick get the hell out of here before I really get pissed.
Ryan was on the floor struggling to get up from the pain. Finally Ryan was able to stand. Ryan didn't say anything but left. Chelsea sat down on a bench. Rachel walked over to her and gave her a hug.
" Everything will be ok".
Chelsea nodded.
" We have a flight back to New York in an hour what do you say we all get to the airport" Rachel suggested.
" UM can I talk to Chelsea alone for a minute" Kevin asked quietly.
" Yeah we will be waiting outside" Rachel answered.
Rachel walked out with Nick who was amazed at Rachel followed behind. Rachel closed the door so they could have some privacy but had her ear against the door. Kevin slowly walked over to Chelsea and sat down next to her on the bench.
" I want to start out by saying that IM sorry Ryan was a jerk and things didn't work out" Kevin started.
" Its OK I really wasn't into this relationship anymore to be honest" Chelsea said looking at Kevin.
" The thing is when I first met you I thought you were so pretty and you were so nice and I liked how we were best friends because I could tell you anything" Kevin explained. " But somewhere along the way I fell in love with you and I wanted to be with you but you were happy with Ryan so I didn't tell you and than lately Kristen has been calling because she wanted to try again and I said no because I don't have feelings for her anymore than the whole Ryan coming to New York thing came up and he proposed and I thought that you would say yes so I decided since I couldn't have you the one that I love I got depressed and invited Kristen over and things got out of hand that’s what you saw" Kevin confessed.
Chelsea was amazed. " I so misunderstood everything," Chelsea finally said. " You see I liked being your best friend too and I thought you were hot and sexy and along the way I too fell in love with you and I wasn't feeling the same way I used to with Ryan and when we first got New York I was going to see you and than I heard you on the phone with Kristen so I thought it wasn't possible for you to have those feelings so when Ryan showed up I tried to act like we still had something and than I was confused on my answer to his marriage proposal because of my feelings for you and I wasn't sure if I was ready and than I saw you this morning and I went crazy and you know the rest" Chelsea explained.
Kevin laughed.
" Now that we have confessed are true feelings what's next" Chelsea asked hinting at something.
" Well I would like you to be my girlfriend" Kevin replied.
Chelsea pretended to think than laid a juicy kiss on his mouth. " Does that tell you my answer" Chelsea asked seductively.
" Oh yeah" Kevin whispered before kissing her.
