He has that perfect smile,
the one you've been dreaming of.
You've seen this boy before,
you just dont know where he was.

You think his eyes are gorgeous,
his hands the perfect tone.
You want this boy in your arms,
to love and call your own.

Everything about him is perfect,
God had to have took the time.
To put this boy, on this Earth,
to be forever mine.

You go home at night and think to yourself,
"What am I going to say?"
Your speech has to be just perfect,
you'll give it to him the next day.

You pray to God he likes you,
you hope he asks you out.
But he probably has a girlfriend,
you're sure without a doubt.

When you go to school the next day,
you look everywhere for that boy.
You ask your friends about him,
they say he's sweet and filled with joy.

You stay one day for basketball,
you see he's on the team.
The way he shoots the ball,
he's the greatest you've ever seen.

You ask your friends to talk to him for you,
you're too scared, excited and shy.
You find that he's crazy about you,
he says he loves your eyes.

That day when you were walkin',
thats when he asked you out.
You get all bundled up inside,
now you know what love is about.
