Nick was laying there thinking about what he saw 2 weeks ago he kept thinking there had to be a reason. Something that was unknown to him. He knew that Anna wouldn’t say anything since he tried that already. ‘Maybe Aaron will tell me...if he’s even willing to talk’ to me he thought to himself so he decided to go see his brother
Aaron was sitting in his hotel room thinking about how do tell his brother that the girl he adored so much had so much pain in her life then some lyrics just popped into his head ’when I feel numb I’ll let you know I won’t become what I was before you cannot kill what’s not your creation this is the art breaking’ he sighed “you cannot kill what’s not your creation...one can only wish” he said to himself then heard a knock on the door which made him jump a little he got up and was surprised to what he found...
Nick looked at his younger brother and now feeling extremely guilty for the way he’s been treating him.
Aaron smiled at his brother “Hey” he said with a huge smile Nick smiled when he saw his little brother smile at him “hey” he said softly Aaron stepped aside so that Nick could come in so Nick entered the room Aaron knew he had to tell him it was now or never
Nick looked up at his younger brother “listen Aaron, I’m sorry about before---“he started to say
Aaron shook his head “no...I’m sorry....look I gotta tell you something about Anna...she needs our help...why she told me this and not you I have no idea but you need to know....”Nick stared at his brother in shock and dread-he was terrified of what Anna had confessed to him. "Her dad hits her..." Aaron said gently, knowing how much it affected him; he couldn’t imagine how much it would affect Nick, whom he knew loved Anna more than anything. Nick stood silently for a moment, absorbing Aaron's statement. The look in Aaron's eyes told Nick that he wasn't kidding...this was real.
Aaron could tell his brother wasn’t sure had to react to this kind of news which is why he needed to tell his brother the rest “there’s more...” he said softly Nick stood there and nodded not wanting to say anything he had no idea what to say Aaron took his shirt off very slowly cause he was still in so much pain Nick’s jaw dropped when he saw all the bruises on his little brother, his baby brother Nick stumbled trying to find words as he just stared in awe “Aaron....did he do this to you?” he asked already knowing the answer Aaron nodded “I was just trying to protect her and after I passed out he still went after her and I’m with her all the time now just cause....I made a deal with him....which is.....he hits me instead of Anna” he said gently to his brother knowing he had to be killing him inside to know someone wasn’t only doing this the girl he loved but his brother his baby brother and now finding out that his brother was taking it all
Nick sat down and stared at the floor.
It took a while for Nick to speak “where is she now?” he asked Aaron looked over at the clock and saw that it read 2:40pm “at school I’m actually late to pick her up....you can stay here and let everything sink in I’ll bring her back here” he answered Nick nodded “okay” he said softly
