Chapter 9: Shattered Road

Nick drove down the road hoping just maybe he would get to Alex in time before the horrible events unfolded. He couldnt see straight out of the window since it was pouring down rain. But when a minute turned into ten, that was when he settled on the thought that even Nick wouldnt come. Sarah made them suffer a while before they got to work. She wanted Kris to be awake before Eddy was going to hurt her. They waited and then when she woke up, Sarah had grabbed her by her hair.

He truly was and then he saw Eddy throw Kris on the floor and typed her hands and mouth. He saw Eddy unzip his pants and was about ready to enter her when the door was barged in by police. The police examine the scene and got Alex and Kris out of the situation before arresting Eddy. What the police didn't know was that Sarah was on the loose....

"So what happened now."
"They arrested Eddy but Sarah escaped. The Police Investigater John McKallen is going to help find her."
"Ok. So what do I need to do for you?"
"Nothing. Just help me take care of Kim."
"Alright..."

Before finishing a sentence, Kris spoke up and screamed. Alex and Nick was startled by this reaction.

None of them could speak. They looked in Nick's eyes and saw his sincereness with Star. They could see he would be hurt let alone probably wanting to kill the bastard for what he did to her. Nick wouldnt know just yet. Kris was sure of it. They would go through obstacles for a while because Kris knew Star wouldnt open up so easily. This would be hard for them too. A shattered road that each of them would be taking. Itll be something that each of them would learn and grow a bud to a flower. They would learn from this or maybe god would test them each more.

The looks that Nick was getting was all it took. He could feel her at the moment for the first time in several days. For the first time in a while, he was feeling her. It felt so good that he was gone. He told Alex he had to go and get to her. Alex gave him the keys to his other car. Nick asked them if they would be alright. They would be because luckily, Nick was going to go get Star and bring her back with him or at least he thought it would be that easy...
