Awesome update. I was excited to see one for this story. I loved the part with Alex packing the car and not letting Morgan help. My dad always does that to my mom, sister and I. Great work!

Another great chapter as always. It was nice to see this story updated. I'm back in classes now and it was a nice distraction from the homework i should be doing.

Once upon a time...Alex and Kris were best friends. But they grew up, moved away, and as the story goes, life happened. Now Alex just got engaged to Theresa, but as he goes on vacation, he meets up with Kris. Shocked isn't even the word that either one would describe at seeing each other. Could an old love brew again?

I just found this story and it is unbelievably good. I didn't even realize I'd read 9 chapters until I was done. Seriously, the way you write the attraction between the two of them is perfect. And Shayne border-lining on a drinking problem is a great angle for a story.
What I love is that you didn't drag things out too much...just enough actually. I could visualize everything happening and I can't wait for you to update again. I am in love with this story!!

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here and assume you're from LD? My friend loves the BNP, but I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.
The real reason why I reviewed again was because I forgot to mention how well you characterize AJ. That's one tough personality to capture, and I think you've done an amazing job.

And thanks for the props about AJ's character. You are certainly right. That is one complicated character to portray. lol
I was really excited to see that this got updated! I knew he was going to have another girl by the time his show came around...I mean it is AJ. And Renee seems like she is exactly his type. Anyways, I think this chapter really set a lot of things up and I can't wait to read more.

Being a writer myself I definitely understand the frustration with a lack of reviewers. If you're taking the time to write the story then you should at least get some feedback. I saw that this was updated earlier today and I couldn't read it. I was waiting all day and now I finally got to read it. I really like where it's going. I can really relate to the depression that Shayne's going through. Sometimes when I write characters that are going through something like that I wonder if readers will think I'm overdoing it or they can understand it. I just wanted to say that you do a great job with this story. It's definitely one of my favorites on here. Great updates, and I can't wait to read more.

I'm SO glad you updated this! I've been reading it, but then when you posted that piece of it in the XXX thread on TDS it reminded me of this and I was just thinking how much I wanted an update. Anyways, it was an awesome chapter. It set a lot of things up and I found it all very realistic. Can't wait for another one!
