The year was 2012 and the world was at war yet again, but for most of us, the fight seemed far from home. We were just ordinary people living our lives in the southeastern United States, and we had other priorities: families... careers... dreams.

But everything changed that day, the day on which Earth became Hell, the catalyst for a rapid chain of events which would bring us together, while destroying the human race. Zombie Christmas carols give us joy! :) As for Gretchen's pregnancy, it's a tough call... on one hand, they'll need to start repopulating the earth at some point, or die out. On the other, without their medical expert, it could be risky to have a baby now. We shall see how it turns out. Glad you're still enjoying the story; thanks again for the review! :)

Yay, more updates! I loved the Harry Potter comparisons. I'm glad that Gabby seems to have found a friend. :) And I like Alistair, he reminds me of "Mad-Eye" Moody. Hey, his name was Alastor, too! ;) Great work.

Author's Response: Thanks!! You know we love us some Harry Potter, and I'm glad you noticed the Alistair/Alastor thing - I totally had Mad-Eye in mind when I wrote that character. It was especially fitting because we've been paying homage to our favorite British zombie movies with some of these characters, and Brendan Gleeson (Moody) was also in 28 Days Later. Glad you enjoyed - thanks again for the review! :)
