This chapter is hard, and not only because I can't imagine a world where Brian isn't part of the group. He's the heart of it and I totally believe that this has really been the worst and most terrifying moment.
And not just for Brian.
I seriously wanted to give a hug to Leighanne: one of the hardest thing is watching your loved one sinking so low and knowing that he's the only one who can help himself up; the hardest thing is watching someone you love becoming a ghost (those dead eyes will always haunt and scare me to the core.)
I wonder if you're going to show the Boys's reaction. Plus I'm still confused about that part, in the previous chapter, with Nick demanding to see Brian (I guess he was in hospital?).

And yes, I do hope those songs will ever see the light in the next album. (Please, I'm begging... No more Nick's writing.) i do think that Brian has wrote tons of songs, though I doubt we'll ever see the darkest. Because it's not Brian's style.

Author's Response: Yep, flash forwards are usually meant to be very confusing.^^ But we'll get there eventually. I agree that this must have been a horrible period, and it's probably a good thing that there were no public appearances during that time (though I guess that they would have been cancelled if there were). I do think Nick's songwriting got better over the years, but to me, it's still a little too childish, if that makes sense...

Yes, Howie. The next two shows are going to get cancelled. And probably you won't be touring for awhile.

This chapter is hard, and not just for what happens, but because strikes home since my dad suffered for an heart attack. And, given Brian's history and all he has been through, I have been extremely worried about something happening. (seriously, Brian should pay me back for all the worries U.u)
But what broke me was Nick and his "we cancel tonight". It's just pure desperation. ç_ç

Author's Response: The chapter is very hard, yes. I'm very sorry about your father, I hope he's okay. Definitely, I have been worried at times about Brian as well. Whenever there popped up a new pic or something, I was like, 'You better not get any thinner, or we have a problem.' I'm very glad you like the 'we can cancel' line, it was added more as an afterthought, but I'm glad it had an impact nonetheless.

Joking aside, the best way to gain confidence is to just write. Don't let the lack of readers (we already know the state of this fandom and it's a sad story) stops you to write. =) Yes, it's always refreshing to know that people read and like your ideas and your writing, but do it mostly for yourself. =) It's hard but you'll realize how good it is to just write and the exciting feeling of knowing that you can complete any ideas you have in mind.
Also... you should do it for me. Because I wanna know how the story will end. lol
You can't keep me hanging on! XD
